Dr. Brookstone and his team are amazing, quick, efficient and kind. I got my tooth extracted today. This office has ample parking and located on the first floor. They let me know all my options and explained anything I didn't understand.  I was in and out under an hour.  I highly recommend Dr. Brookstone and his office.

My son had his wisdom teeth pulled by dr. Brookstone a couple of months ago and all I can say is good things about him and the staff. He had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and was sick and they took great care of him and were wonderful. Thank you so much

Worst experience of my life. The most condesending person I've ever met. Give a 3 year old an ice pick and a benadryl and let them at your mouth before you go see this man. Rude, awful, office disgusting. Literally yelled at me about payment before even explaining the procedure. Nice attitude. Skip it. There are plenty of other choices out there, which he pointed out to me when I questioned his manner.

TLDR; Dr. Brookstone is incredibly unprofessional and just plain rude, with absolutely NO bedside manner. Don't go here if you expect exceptional service and a professional Dr. If you don't care and are a miserable person, this is the dentist for you! Just to preface, I have been working in healthcare for years and work for one of the most highly rated PCP's on Long Island. I KNOW how to treat patients. I was referred to Dr. Brookstone by my dentist, maybe because I have Medicaid based insurance, but I would not recommend him even if all my teeth were falling out of my mouth. I made an appointment for a consultation for a wisdom tooth removal, which I was under the impression it would be just that- a consultation (mind you this is my first dental procedure) I can't say anything negative about his staff, they were all nice and friendly. He comes into the room, says absolutely nothing for about 30 seconds, then finally asks my name and then introduces himself with his back turned to me (so friendly, love that!) Anxious to begin with, he turns to me and says, ok I'm going to numb you it'll take 5 minutes. So I ask, if they are extracting my tooth today even though I was under the impression today's visit was supposed to be only a consultation. With an attitude he tells me yes and that if I don't want to do it today, he'll see me next time, hesitant to even explain the procedure to me or discuss any alternatives. Due to his awful manner and attitude, I flat out told him how unprofessional he was being, only then did he briefly explain, but was quick to tell me to call my dentist and have them explain what this procedure would entail. I made an effort to explain that this is my first dental procedure and I was new to the entire process, but even then, he had no problem walking out and failed to explain everything to a nervous, new patient. The whole conversation took less than 5 minutes, where I was left to grab my belongings and leave the office, with unanswered questions.All in all, the office as a whole looks unclean and I would be lying if I said the office looks unsanitary as well, especially during this COVID era. My issue wasn't even with that, but moreso with the unfriendly doctor. I feel so sorry for the girls who work here because I have worked with ungrateful and unprofessional doctors like this, and I can only imagine how he treats them. I hope they find new endeavors and leave Dr. Brookstone's disgusting, unpleasant office.Dr. Brookstone- you are unprofessional, rude, and I'm disappointed and appalled. I should have expected this from a doctor with such poor reviews. I feel so sorry for you, and I hope you can find a new profession that you genuinely love, because this is definitely not something you like doing, even if it does pay the bills. I know you view your patients as dollar signs, and you entered this profession just for the money, how sad. The fact that you have absolutely no self awareness and feel like it's okay to speak to a nervous and curious 23 year old (despite your grown age) the way that you did is just plain disgusting. Doctors who don't explain anything to their patients (especially a new patient) never, ever have a positive lasting impression. I hope you find happiness in your miserable life.

Aside from his staff I have to say Dr. Brookstone is excellent. I've been using him for years and yes the staff is very blunt but you can't take away from what he does. He's a master of his trade. That's why it's so hard to get an appointment but I think he is worth the wait but first getting by the shortness of his staff. He could do better then what he has but they aren't who I'm there for.

Where to begin- First with obtaining an appointed for a Saturday for a wisdom tooth extraction that was in dire need of removal. I contacted them And was greeted by Vanessa who was very helpful in getting me the appt so fast and fitting me into the schedule. She quoted me a price and she was exactly on point w what it cost in the end , it was actually slightly less. I was a little uneasy after reading the reviews ,but I put it all aside because it was not directly related to the DR. I’ve never had a tooth pulled before so I was a tad nervous. Upon arrival I was greeted by the intake person which was A smooth transaction. I waited seconds before I was called in to do X-rays. I was greeted by Doria and what a pleasant experience it was. She made me feel very comfortable and safe as she was cleaning and disinfecting all the areas which made me feel at ease with all that is happening. Lastly, the best was Dr. Brookstone, he is magical. Once he entered the room I felt I was in good hands and I was correct, he immediately told me my tooth had been infected for months, something my dentist missed telling me. I didn’t feel a thing when he extracted the tooth and I had no pain after either and the whole process took less than 5 minutes from when I met him. AMAZING!! He is truly talented and skilled. I highly highly recommend him!

My family has used Dr. Brookstone over the years and we have always been very happy, but he and his staff went out of their way to help my elderly father with an emergency appointment today. They were extremely compassionate, caring, and professional. They were on time, patient, gentle and understanding to his needs with complicated health issues. We had complete confidence with the doctor and his entire staff. Vanessa and Jaime were wonderful. . I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs an oral surgeon.
