List of Matthew Rausch's Reviews
She us always in a rush and is NEVER available by phone unless she can bill for it. She is generally nice but I guess she is caught up in working for a big health system and has to rush from patient to patient. She gets nasty when you ask her questions and sighs a lot during appointments when I asked any questions. She just wants patients who will go with whatever she says and not question her. Just FYI, there are so many private doctors that will do amazing work and work with you and spend time answering your questions without the unnecessary sighs and facial expressions. She robbed me of many years of my life. Now I'm with a doctor who actually cares- Dr. Jeff W (this website won't allow me to spell out his name) in NYC. He is amazing and willing to work with you through everything...such an amazing physician who has helped me tremendously. I also interviewed many other private physicians in NYC- So many options. Please avoid Dr. Rausch if you value your time and sanity.
I left a review for Dr. Rausch on google and other websites because I want the world to know what happened to me and hopefully no one else has to endure what I went through with her. I did two IVF cycles with Dr. Rausch in 2012 and it was the worst experience of my life. I ended up leaving her office all together to get treated elsewhere. I found out that she told a fellow colleague that there was no sense in treating me because my endometriosis was too damaging to my reproductive system but she continue to take my money and proceed to do (2) IVF cycles even though she knew it wasn’t gonna work. I felt unheard, unseen, unimportant. Every time she walked into the room she was always in a rush to get to her next patient. I never felt that I mattered to her. I was just another patient or another paycheck. I ended up going to another fertility dr at a different practice and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I now have three beautiful children all from that doctor. Dr. Rausch treated me so horrible and it left a profound scar on me emotionally and psychologically. She lied to me and continued to do IVF cycles on me even though she knew it would never work. She never tried to fix the actual problem which was my stage 4 endometriosis. You can’t have a successful IVF cycle unless you fix the issues first. She never tried to fix those issues. I’m so glad I listened to my gut and went to another doctor. The other doctor treated my endometriosis and now I have three beautiful children. I would not recommend Dr. Rausch. She was horrible to me.
What a wretched woman. Cares about money, not patients. Wants to bill for unnecessary visits. Does not care at all about patients and it is pretty obvious. Even the Male physicians show more empathy and care. Northwell fire her already!
Terrible physician. Every appointment is over am hour long. After waiting for the doctor for 1 hour, Dr. Rausch rushes in, quickly spends less than 1 minute in the room, then rushes out. It's as though only her time matters, not the patient's. She doesn't answer questions and her nurses and staff do not know the answers to most questions. She is never available by phone. One of the worst MDs I've come across in a sense. She doesn't care about the patients, she just cares about the numbers and it is pretty obvious. She knows what she is doing for the most part but her bedside manner is horrific. The other doctors in the practice are not as bad as her. Dr. Cohen, Dr. San Roman and Dr. Goldman are pretty good. Not sure why I got stuck with Dr. Rausch.
Wow, I am really surprised at these reviews, I have only had about 4 visits so far. Still working through the possible reason (s) for my infertility....but i have to say the staff has been wonderful from the front desk to the phlebotomy staff. Dr. Mary Rausch is awesome; passionate about her craft and very warm and friendly. She is a fast talker and always on the go but still makes time to answer my questions. Satisfied so far...
Not sure how she hasn't been fired. This woman should not even be a physician. She's cold, insensitive, tells you "I don't have time to discuss your medications with you" .... unbelievable how Northwell will keep her part of their company! She's absolutely wretched the way she treats patients. Frankly, it's disgusting. She should be ashamed of herself not only working at an RE, but also an an insensitive woman! Please fire her Northwell!!
Nasty! Insensitive! Rude! Should pick a new field
She answered a ton of my questions, and put me at ease. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Mary Rausch secretary Angela, is the most unprofessional, rude and useless doctor's secretary you will ever have to deal with in your lifetime! Dr. Rausch is never accessible over the phone. Having her as a doctor is like having no doctor at all and when you make an appointment to go see her, they make you wait over an hour after your appointment time. Also she does not provide detailed instructions. She is always in a rush and it looks like the comunication between her and her staff is 0 since she will tell you her staff will do certain things and will get back to you and then doesn't tell the staff what to do. You end up wasting precious time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
