Dr. Magee missed a tumor that my husband had in 2004. He was diagnosed with STAGE 4 COLON CANCER 13 months later. He died in 2010 after a 5-year, agonizing battle. He was 46. He left behind 3 daughters, one son, a mother, and 3 brothers. Dr. Magee told him his anemia was probably caused by his weight.

When it comes to my health, a doctor has to earn my trust. Dr. Magee has done that. He is thorough when explaining things to you with words you can understand. I felt safe during my procedures and was glad to see his face first in recovery! He uses technology to communicate with his patients. His responses are quick! I recently had a COVID-19 scare and Dr. Magee followed me through the entire process, texting and checking to make sure I was alright. I love that man for that! I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Magee!

I recently had my second colonoscopy from Dr. David Magee on 10/6/17. I had been so impressed with his knowledge, attention and service when I had my first one nine years ago, that I purposely requested that he perform this procedure for me the second time. The staff at Old Town Colonoscopy is outstanding. They are very welcoming and quick to answer any questions I had about the procedure or about insurance. The nurses are caring and ready to make my visit as comfortable as possible. In particular, Lynn stands out as the best possible representative for this center. She is friendly, but thorough in her questions and seeks to get the most accurate information possible to pass on to Dr. Magee. She also takes the time to share suggestions that will help the healing process and I truly appreciated this. Dr. Magee is a wonderful physician. His explanation of the procedures he performed is clear. He is eager to answer any questions and is genuinely concerned that I understand the information. Dr. Magee has shown that he cares about my health and I would return to him for my third colonoscopy without any hesitation.

Another great experience with Dr. Magee. My spouse and I have had two colonoscopes each with Dr. Magee. Each time he was attentive and answered all of our questions. His support staff was outstanding from the intake nurse (who is hilarious) to the excellent nurse anesthetist. I would highly recommend Dr. Magee to anyone looking for a great doctor.

I started my Cancer journey with Dr Magee and was forced to change doctors after three treatments. I switched insurance and returned to Dr. Magee. I cannot recommend Dr. Magee enough. There is no doctor I trust more to care about my health and well being as much as Dr. Magee. He has the patience of Job and he doesn't miss anything. He turns over every rock and he is thorough in informing me of what I need to know and helping me to understand where I stand. He saved my life. I had a very serious cancer that most do not recover from and I do believe that his diligence and his careful scientific oversight of my case and extreme care was indeed one aspect of why I am here today. But more than that, he never made me feel like a number-- unlike the doctors I had to move to when my insurance required me to go elsewhere. I was never so relieved to get back to Dr. Magee and now he has moved again and I am looking for him. I am done with treatment and only having follow-up care but I would like it to be with Dr, Magee. For some reason these clinics think we choose clinics over the doctor. I think if they were the patient they would realize that is 100% not the case. I will follow my doctor every time no matter where he practices. Dr. Magee is the best of the best.

I have known Dr. David Magee for over 15 years & he has been my personal Gastroenterologist for 10 years. Dr Magee has ALWAYS done a fantastic, professional job with me. Honestly, I dont see how he could get a bad review from anyone at least based on my experience with Him. He has always provided me with excellent care, has always been punctual, available as has his entire staff. I feel very comfortable in personally recommending Dr. David Magee to anyone seeking the highest quality care for their Gastroenterology needs.
