Dr. Schamel takes whatever time is necessary to determine a couse of action, whether lab work, a referral, a prescription, etc. I rarely wait more than 5-10 minutes. Dr. Schamel and her nurse, Amanda, are both kind and personable - not to mention knowledgable.

Wow, I just read my medical report. Another "diagnosis" on there, I wasn't made aware of in her office. I'm not appreciating the loss of credibility the medical establishment seems to bestow upon me. Honesty should be their mantra.

When a parent takes a sick child to an appointment, they would hope to be met with an empathetic caretaker. This was not the case with Shannon Schamel. She did not have a bedside manner that would be acceptable in her position. Unfortunately we left the office feeling like we were blown off. I would not recommend this dr at all.
