I received great care as Dr. Somberg repaired my broken femur. He was understanding, he explained carefully how the surgery would work, and he took time to answer all my questions. I found him to be very knowledgeable. The surgery and recovery has gone well under his care and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Somberg has an amazing "bed-side" manner. He is patient with you, listens to your concerns and genuinely wants to make you better. I have been a patient of his for several years and have brought my family members to see him as well. I have used other orthopedics in the past and have not found one as wonderful as he. Even though his expertise is with the foot, he is well knowledgeable in all other orthopedic areas. Just recently he did a PRP procedure on my heel and while I had one 10 years ago with someone else I knew the high level of pain I should expect. There was almost no pain during the procedure and now 24 hours later, still just about pain free! Highly recommended!!!!

After suffering for years with a reoccurring infection and bone on bone ankle injury Dr. A Max Somberg successfully preformed an ankle fusion which gave me back a virtual pain free walk and so far after a year no sign of reoccurring infections from swelling. I was lucky to find such a GREAT and CONCERNED DOCTOR ! Thank You Dr. Somberg ! Your the BEST !

Dr Somberg was terrific. He did surgery on my husbands ankle and tendons and he healed beautifully. Dr Somberg was extremely patient and understanding. I recommend him highly!!!!

Dr.Somberg operated on my brother.He had 3 plates and 15 screws in his ankle.It was a very complicated surgery.After 9 months my brother was walking as if nothing happened. He is a highly skilled surgeon.Thank you.

I wish we would have gone to Dr. Somberg immediately after my husband's injury but I'm grateful that we ended up being referred to him when it came time for surgery. He's an excellent surgeon and has an amazing bed side manner. Each visit we were treated with care and dedication of his time. Never felt rushed. He definitely has the best interest of his patients at heart.

All 3 of my boys have used Dr. Somberg. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Never feel rushed. Performed ankle surgery on my oldest 3 years ago. Perfectly done, would never know he had an ankle injury today.

There aren't enough words to fully explain what this highly-skilled surgeon did for me. He re-did a foot problem that was not fixed properly by another doctor. It was quite an ordeal; a very complicated surgery to say the least. Dr. Somberg rose to the occasion and exceeded my expectations! He has a wonderful bedside manner and you can tell he truly wants the best for you. Never rushes; always answers and explains in a manner you can understand. Highly recommend!
