List of David Southren Md's Reviews
Really listens to complaints and discusses treatment and options.
Doctor was not interested in hearing the entire story. He made inappropriate insinuations. Even though I left more educated, it was myself who was pushing for info while the doctor was looking at the clock. Apparently he was not mentally with me.
During my first consultation with Dr. Southren, in hopes to get a second opinion, instead I got the worst treatment by a doctor ever. I am a nurse and absolutely insulted to have been treated with such an attitude, and rude demeanor by this man. He didn't listen to a word I said and even put his hand up to signal me to stop speaking. He did not perform an examination. His office took a week to give me my results in which the receptionist relayed them. Absolutely disgusting.
Doctor Bryan was terrific in explaining and answering all my questions. Problem is the office staff are fairly unorganized and overwhelmed to a point where they are dangerous. Scheduled an echocardiogram after a stress test and got a call on saturday to cancel my renal something on Tuesday because tech was not available. Stating that was not a test i was scheduled for i got a promise of a call back on monday to reschedule me. Here it is Wednesday and guess what. The terribly confused lady no cal
Doctor Southern took his time to discuss my health problem and seemed sincerely interested in my well being. I highly recommend him..
A true professional doctor, He makes sure you are part of the decision making and clearly let's you know the choices available to you.
I WISH ALL DOCTORS WERE THIS THOROUGH AND INFORMATIVE, AS WELL AS PLEASANT TO SPEAK WITH
I came to an appointment with the results from test that were ordered by my physician. Dr. Southern did not even look at them. First he complained that I did not bring any test results. When I presented them (copy was made by the front desk and put in my chart as well) he starts complaining that immature doctors order tests and they do not mean anything ( still did not even open results). He orders to re-take all tests in his office. Follow up (after tests ordered by my primary were re-done at his office). Dr. Southern asks if I originally came with the results of the previously done tests â¦â¦ when I pointed that they already in the system from the previous visit he complaints about immature doctors that order testsâ¦. Have not looked at the results (including results of the tests that were done in his office)â¦. My advice â RUN from this doctor.
Thanks for the reviews - I was going to go to this doctor, but no question I would not go near him after reading these reviews
Couldn't have cared less about my mother's heart and sent her home with an untreated arrhythmia, while practically rolling his eyes in boredom. I brought her to NYU and they shocked her heart and gave her a pacemaker that same night. He's a totally disgusting doctor and his manner is officious and abrupt.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
