Dean Miller Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Miller had a very calming compassionate bedside manner and really cares about his patients. He calmed me when I was extremely vulnerable and I felt so safe in his care. Nurses and doctors respect him for his kindness and sweet demeanor. He took great care of me when I was in the hospital as well as office visits. He knows his medicine and I'm very grateful for him.

The greatest doctor in the world! When I go for my routine checkups with Doctor Miller I feel as if I am going to hang out with a close friend, rather then visiting the doctor. His ability to create a welcoming, warm, relaxed environment are some of his many amazing traits. I have been trying to get a return phone call from Dr. Miller’s office for 1-week. My 85-year old father fell last week, he was seen by Dr. Miller’s Assistant on Tuesday. She promised to arrange a home care nurse visit through Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. Needless to say, we never received a return call for the appointment. I have now called 8 times in 2-days, everyone promises a return call, but no one has done so. Stay away from this office, they obviously do not give a damn.

Do not waste your time with Dr. Dean Miller office, if you are a new patient. The staff in the front office, has demonstrated that Dr. Dean Miller does not care for any new patients. Especially if you are late by 10 or even 15 minutes. The secretary will lie and say, she will go ask the doctor on whether or not he will be able to see you even though you are a little bit late. Of course she comes back saying, the doctor will not be able to see you because he has another patient coming soon and that you would have to reschedule and wait another 3 to 4 months to see him. I was standing right there, not one time did she bother to even pick up the phone and or go to the doctors office to speak to him. Very unprofessional. STAY AWAY. FAR AWAY.

I had an appointment with Dr. Dean Miller. Just because I was 15 minutes late, the secretary claims that the doctor would not be able to see me. I waited 3 months for this appointment. She pretends to go ask the doctor as if he would be able to see me even though I am late. I am watching this secretary pretend to go speak to the doctor and comes back and says no he is with a patient and that he will not be able to see me without even speaking to the doctor. If you are a new patient, stay away. This doctors office is not worth it. LIARS

Minimal waiting room time. Quick initial evaluation by nurse. Short wait for Dr. Miller. He is curious, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Always researches who is best specialist for my complex paraplegic situation before making recommendations. Good follow up by telephone.

I met Dr. Miller when he was the attending for my mother at Good Samaritan. I found him to be kind and gentle with her. He treated her with respect and listened attentively without rushing her. When it came time for me to find a new PCP I thought of Dr. Miller and have been pleased with the several visits I've had. I have found his listening to patients to be one of his strong suits and I too have never felt rushed by him. I would certainly recommend him.

Very personable. Listens and takes the time to understand each patient. Extraordinarily knowledgeable. Dr. Miller is the quintessential PCP you can trust.
