A no nonsense surgeon who performed a discectomy on me 18 years ago and recent laminectomy. I'm very happy with the results. Dr Oppenheim explained exactly what the problem was and,exactly what the surgery would entail. This man has saved many peoples lives and takes an incredible amount of pride in fixing your problem. The office staff are competent,patient and professional. I hope to never need surgury again but very comforting to know that he is there if needed.

After 6 months of terrible sciatic pain and suffering through physical therapy and two pain management injections with no relief, I finally had clearance to see Dr. Oppenheim. I'm 84 years old and honestly thought I would never be able to stand up or walk without pain again. In July 2023, the doctor performed a spinal laminectomy and that same evening the hospital had me out of bed. For the first time in 6 months I was able to stand and walk without pain in my leg. To simply say thank you is not enough. For me, Dr. Oppenheim is a miracle worker. He gave me back my life and I can't thank him enough. Before the surgery, his concern for my well-being as an older patient helped me to relieve my own concerns. I also need to mention his staff who were helpful, courteous and professional throughout. I’m writing this on behalf of my father who just had a surgery done with Dr. Oppenheim in the spring. Dr. Oppenheim changed/saved my Dad’s life with the surgery. My dad can now walk around again pain free and live life. We will be eternally grateful to him.

Dr. Oppenheim performed back surgery on me, which cured my spinal stenosis. He is very competent, knowledgeable, and a very nice guy. I can see that neurosurgery is his passion. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Oppenheim saved my life and my joy. I was admitted to Garnet with agonizing neck pain from a pinched nerve that was slowly taking away the use of my dominent arm, hand, and fingers. He kept a watchful eye over me and when the time came, he performed my laminectomy. The nurses all raved how lucky I was that he was the Neurosurgeon because he is the best. I agree. He is patient and kind. Impeccable bedside manner with a warm and reassuring nature. My recovery went exactly as he explained it would (if not better) and his office responded quickly to anything I needed or asked about post-operation. I am forever grateful to Dr. Oppenheim, who got a 41-year old mother of three back to running around after the kids and back onto the softball field coaching and playing again.
