I have been seeing Dr. Giella for quite a few years and always find him to be pleasant, understanding and thorough. I have had to have stents inserted for kidney stones and he is excellent at what he does.

smart caring doctor- my psa went up still in normal range. Recommended biopsy after repeat testing and was positive. He did follow up and called me at night to let me know about results.. Excellent doctor.

Doc Giella is a fabulous doctor. I used to live in Rockland County; I now live in Westchester County, and he is the only doctor I will travel to Rockland for! He is very personable, knowledgeable, friendly and above all, he knows his practice incredibly well. His staff is very good as well...!

Doctor has a cavalier attitude. Self-verified patient of Dr. John Giella - Posted on February 3rd, 2017 The doctor had a very cavalier attitude when I had a 1.5 spike in my PSA. He told me to go home an take Advil and hot baths for two or more weeks. There was no sense of urgency. I ignored his advice and went to Sloan Memorial for a second opinion.
