Alan Bolnick's Online Review Report Card

Do not trust Alan or his brother Jay. You and your baby are not their priority. If terrible bedside manner was their only issue, I would not have taken the time to write this review, but they are manipulative, self-absorbed, and greedy. They will use scare tactics to force you to get unnecessary testing. They will play on your worries and fears for their monetary and "professional" benefit. They don't care about truly helping you. They care about their bank accounts and research. I left OBGYN Associates of WNY because of them & Brian Smith. Suddenly, they are showing up everywhere else I go. They are rapidly weaseling their way into OB practices all over Buffalo. They need to leave.

Horrible bedside manners! Doesn’t explain things thoroughly, and doesn’t really Answer your questions. This man does not care about your feelings so be prepared to leave in tears if you go to him because most times he’s just going to tell you the worst. Had a tech misdiagnose me (not blaming her she was very nice, I loved all the techs) he didn’t even take the time to really check the problem even though what she saw was serious, I ended up spending the money to have a different specialist look at me and tell me that she was baffled because nothing was wrong. I wouldn’t even refer him to my worst enemy. I have anxiety now at the thought of getting pregnant again thanks to him. But on the other hand his brother was wonderful and very nice.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Horrible bed side manner, very condescending. He tried to tell me that all the symptoms I was experiencing was in my head. He didn’t give me the complete report from my biopsy, and instead referred me to a different doctor who ended up telling me what he should have told me in the first place. Don’t go to him unless you want to be frustrated and have your time wasted!

I wouldn’t even refer this “doctor” to my worst enemy. Absolutely rude, and horrible bedside manners. He doesn’t care about how you feel or your well being. I left in tears multiple times. I always had anxiety everytime I had to see him because I always felt like there was going to be something wrong at one point I asked him if I something was going to happen to me and his exact words were “if you can find a way to make people not die you let me know” chuckled and left. If I could I wouldn’t even give him one star.

Dr Alan & Jay practiced together many years ago in Milledgeville GA. They care for me & delivered 3 of my babies. I was high risk but they monitored my pregnancies & everything went smooth. They had good bedside manner & always let me know what to expect. Thankful for both of them. I wish they were here now to care for my daughter during her pregnancy.

Dr Bolnick is rude and I feel he abuses his role. He disregards patients rights. He is cold hearted and dismissive and doesn't like when a patient thinks for themselves. He attempts to push clearly stated unwanted testing on patients and he is a bully.

Dr Bolnick is rude, egotistical and seems that he enjoys control or he is not happy. I feel he uses his title abusively. He lacks responsibility in patient care and education. His professionalism is certainly left to be desired. And it feels as though he abuses his role in a patients care. I have never hated being pregnant more than I have the last 36 hours. He also doesn't seem to like the fact that not all patients require his assistance in conception. 1 star for rec cuz 0 wasn't an option

I left the office in tears. This man was what the others have commented, dismissive with horrible bed side manner. I truly wish my husband had accompanied me to my appointment because Dr. Bolnick may have changed his behavior (or at least my hubby could have stood up for me better than I was able to). These doctors are working with pregnant, hormonal women who have legitimate concerns about their health and their babies health. He was arrogant and unprofessional.

Dr. Alan was unprofessional, and dismissive of any concerns I had. He did not do his research about me ahead of time. He made rude comments towards me. I would not recommend. Stay away.
