He was my moms Doctor and although she past away last month... she loved going to him.. I would always go in the room with her...she loved joking around with him and he went right along with her... I would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody!!!

I have seen Dr Sy for more than over 15 years. Have always had complete confidence in him. He is a very good listener, never felt rushed. I would highly recommend him , and have done so.

An active listener. Goes over any and all test results, with recommendations.

Very thoughtful and thorough. Listens and goes over any questions that I have. If I need assistance, I can usually see another physician if he is out of town or busy. Always schedules tests and any other questions I may have.

When I started going to him, he was a decent doctor. After years of him growing to big for him to handle his patients, I was there for a couple of years and never saw him. As far as the last review that spoke about the office manager, she is an evil, sarcastic, snotty woman. I dont know if she is the office manager or the billing manager but I mainly left the practice because of her. The fact that I had several bad experiences with this nasty woman and that I never actually saw my doctor were my reasons for going elsewhere. I am now thrilled with my new doctor and would never go back to Southgate Medical.

Although Dr. Sy is a relatively good and average to above average doctor, he is at the mercy of his office manager who directs him on how to treat patients. I worry about a doctor who cannot think on his own and lets a glorified secretary tell him how to treat patients. If you can avoid his office manager (almost impossible) Dr. Sy can provide adequate care.
