List of Kenneth Eckhert's Reviews
Dr. Beckett was a wonderfully compassionate man. He was very professional and knowledgeable.
I love Dr Eckhert, he saved my life. I had a perforated ulcer and he found it, 2 other Dr'.s missed it. He is very caring and patient. I would recommend him to anyone.
Had a terrible time scheduling diagnostic appointments and finally spoke with office manager. The new surgical scheduler was not transparent that a date for GERD surgery was contingent upon the TIF rep being there- I made extensive arrangements to travel some 5 hours for the procedure only to have it changed. the office is all out of sorts about COVID- we all are- but if they are offering medical care, I will tell Dr. E the next time I see him myself I do not expect a crap show from his staff. If they can not do the job, just stay home. I am going there for my health not a mental breakdown by his staff that then impacts my health. The way the office is run predates covid anyways. Can update on how surgery goes.
The office does not seem to be well run. I had a terrible time getting my gerd testing arranged. The woman changed her mind several times on what I needed to do, when and where. I had to finally ask to speak with an office manager. Now, my hernia procedure is being scheduled, and same thing- Michelle says I am not on the schedule yet Gillian called me herself 3 business days ago and we picked a date. Confusion about pre-op testing at Mercy (nothing to do with covid). Office did not send me forms for my primary care either. Packet says page 1 of 2 for pre op testing but there is no page 2 of 2. They say we will call you back... and your life is in limbo. Vested in the situation but wishing I was working with a better run practice. Driving 5 hrs RT for a TIF and Dr. Eckert told me it would be one more trip to Buffalo but it will be 2 more trips and 3 if I did not put my foot down to do pretesting and covid testing on the same day.
Great doctor good bedside manner
Dr Eckhert is excellent in his field. He is also very caring and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Dr. Eckhert loves to tell you one thing and then go back on his word. He continually doesn’t seem to know what’s going on and then takes weeks to get back to you. If you have a surgical complication forget it, he will want to push it off on another Doctor because he can’t seem to take care of it. Between his lack of communication and his rude surgical scheduler Paula I urge you to find somebody else’s
Very understanding. The procedure went perfectly. I went back recently for another reason and he said I did not need surgery.
Great Dr! I had my gallbladder removed last November and it was my first surgery.Needless to say I was extremely scared, the dr went over it with me and answered every question to my satisfaction and assured me it would be an easy surgery and quick recovery. The surgery couldn’t of went better,I highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.
I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Eckhert and so far so good. My experience with him was very pleasant. He understood that I was scared and walked me through by giving me a plethora of information and answered all my husband's questions. I was suffering for years but it wasn't until I was examined by Dr eckhert that I finally felt heard. The surgery is very painful and three weeks later I'm still in pain and swollen but it was well worth it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
