List of Ramesh Luther's Reviews
The doctor insisted I needed to come in for a follow up at his office after a colonoscopy.. I had to take time off from work, drive 45 minutes and then the doctor kept me waiting over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I might add this was 9 in the morning so I was one of the first patients. After all that, he consulted with me for 3 minutes, telling me everything was fine. Seems like a simple 1 minute phone call to me after my procedure would have sufficed, rather than almost two hours of my time, plus the co-pay they insisted on charging me. I have the impression they require a follow up visit to increase revenue.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. If I could rate 0 stars I would. He does not care about his patients in the slightest. This office straight up lied to me and told me there was no way to test for lactose intolerance, and when I found out there was a way and requested a test they denied me. The ONE time I actually saw Dr. Luther over my multiple appointments, he was in and out in three minutes. He brushed off my concerns after giving me the generic IBS diagnosis. I was treated with two separate prescriptions for IBS despite that likely not even being my issue. Didn’t work go figure. What a waste of time and a massive drain on both my physical and mental health. Maybe this Dr is smart, but I wouldn’t know since he’s clearly only in this business for money. Now I have to start over and find a new doctor, since I’d rather suffer with these issues longer than ever have to see that terrible man again. Not to mention, even the receptionists are very condescending and rude. Not all are, but you never know who you will get when you call. The PA Debra Blair was nice and helpful, but she can only do so much.
Every time I went there he would say same thing .lose weight and stop smoking..I lost 50 lbs and stopped smoking..He still said same thing..I was losing weight from an illness not because I was trying..went to another Dr. I have had two surgery already...He let my illness go to long..thank god for other dr. I should have looked at reviews
He followed me when no one else could figure out what was wrong with me. He did and kept me from dying of liver failure. His staff was wonderful as well.
I have had many great visits with Dr Luther. Very good GI doctor. Took care of my problems. Also his PA Debra is exceptional!!
Dr. Luther and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable the whole time I was in his office. He did not explain anything he was doing and when he was asking me questions about my symptoms he would cut me off and answer for me!! Or he would “rationalize” the answers he did let me finish and brushed them off as something much less before writing them down. Gave me the quick/general IBS talk and hurried me out of the office with no follow up appointment. Not that I would ever step foot in there again anyways. I’m honestly a little traumatized. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this place at all costs!!!!!!!
Most rude Dr I have ever come across. He has lost more patients than he gains for a reason. Staff doesn’t even know how to handle this egomaniac quack who only cares about himself, thinks the world revolves around him. If you’re interested in feeling better, go elsewhere. If you’re interested in feeling worse physically, and mentally and even emotionally this man is literally almost crossing the line of being verbally abusive. In all sincerity stay away from “Dr” Luther. He lost me, several friends, and family who all feel the same if not worse about this man.
Never coming here again. Didn't take responsibility for their actions when they recommended me the wrong supplement. Didn't recommend a specialist to look at the results from their ordered blood tests, after they said they cannot do anything else for me. Was really short with me after THEY made a BIG mistake. And then I find out they cant do anything else for me? What a joke.
In my opinion Dr. Luther is an arrogant, disconnected, rude human being. I was diagnosed with auto-immune hepatitis 10 years ago by him. He suggested and I took the steroid drug prednisone along with actical. 2 very high powered drugs. I explained to him that the prednisone was giving me strong side effects. He was not concerned at all. Instead he reprimanded me telling me that if I was not going to follow his instructions he would no longer see me. I continued to take it until I became very anxious and quite ill. I ended up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, New York. They were great! I went back to Dr. Luther and told him that I did some research with the doctors at the Mayo Clinic and there were other anti-inflammatory drugs that I could take. He was very angry. He told me not to come back to him and that I was going to end up with liver cancer in front of his office staff. I'm still here no thanks to you Dr. Ramesh. I now have a great doctor here in Buffalo.
Dr. Luther is a wonderful doctor. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be cancer-free 6 years. His bedside manner needs to be better. But as a GI he knows what he's talking about.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
