Unprofessional work place, sends patients scripts insurance info ect to employees personal cell phones I don't recommend coming here if you like having your privacy absolutely no regard for hippa privacy this place should be looked into for the wrong doings and malpractice

I have had low back pain from a 1994 work injury and have seen numerous doctors throughout the years. Dr. Zhan has helped with my pain from day one! I have been able to do things I haven't been able to do in years! In 2001 I injured my neck needing surgery. Between the two injuries I had to retire in 2016. I'll never be pain free but Dr. Zhan at least has made it possible to get out of the house.

Dr Zhan was very unprofessional. She was difficult to understand, answering text messages during my procedure, and refused to answer by questions. The facilities look dirty, are poorly lit, and are dingy. Dr Zhan changed her mind about taking my case after previously deciding to take it on. This was after taking time to try more conservative treatment. Which should always be encouraged and supported by medical professionals. It seems as retribution for not immediately going with the shots. She then refused to answer my questions because “she does not take patient phone calls”. She also does not provide the proper information for her staff to be able to answer questions. The office staff was very professional and nice unfortunately Dr Zhan is not.

I was injured at work and seeing a neurosurgeon to look at possible treatments. He also referred me to Dr. Zhan to manage the pain. When I went to my first appointment, I filled out paperwork related to the injury and my worker's comp insurance. When I saw the doctor, she looked over my paperwork and stated curtly "your case is not established." I asked what that meant, and she said it meant that my worker's comp claim had not been accepted, so they wouldn't pay for the treatment. I told her that I had received a letter from the worker's comp insurance saying that they had accepted my claim, and that they had so far paid for visits to other doctors. She seemed skeptical and asked who my attorney was. I said I hadn't hired an attorney and she was aghast. She kept asking me, "You don't have an attorney? You really don't have an attorney?" Throughout my brief visit with her, she repeated this question literally over 10 times. She asked how I was going to file my claim without an attorney, and feeling flustered and confused, I said that it had already been filed through work. She stated that she would treat me this one time, but could not see me for any future visits until I had an attorney. She quickly gave me a shot and a lidocaine patch, barely giving me any information on what was in these treatments or what to expect, and I got the feeling that she was in a hurry to give me a cursory treatment and get me out of her office. She kept incredulously asking me if I truly didn't have an attorney, and spoke to me like a teacher reprimanding a misbehaving child. I called the neurosurgeon who had referred me, and they immediately gave me a referral to a different doctor. On a later visit to the chiropractor who has been treating me, he confirmed my understanding that you don't *need* an attorney to file a worker's comp case. So I don't understand how at a pain management practice, who surely gets a lot of worker's comp cases, how I am apparently the first patient they have ever treated who didn't have a lawyer. I have no plans to go back to this practice, even if I do eventually hire a lawyer.

Dr.zhan listens to you and treats you like a person not a number.

What A good Doctor! I got trigger point injection,s from her and what a difference! Been going to Dent Neurolgy for about 6 years getting the same shots, boy what a difference. She numbed each spot before the shot( which Dent never did) totally taking that pain away and put lidocaine patches on when she was done. I am so glad that I found her! Would recommend to all my family and friends! It,s under my husband's name but written by Shellie Harrington!

Disorganized and poor communication skills. This office completely wasted my time. I called to inquire about EMG and the office said they could do it. I showed up for my appointment and the doctor said that she could not do the EMG.

Dr. Zhan is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing. She coordinates with a team of specialists to ensure I receive the best treatment. I know I can ask her for advice about any care concerns. Her knowledge, expertise, and bedside manner are amazing. Her staff is caring and professional.
