Office staff doesn't communicate with one another nor the patient. Told me they would call me to reschedule, but I never heard from them. I had to call them and then there was nothing available after 5, despite appointments showing as available 5 or later on online. Was supposed to have a session with Dr. Malagold, but it was with someone else and then she showed up at the end and asked me the same questions I had already answered several times before. Unhelpful and exacerbated my stress. Also felt her comments were inappropriate after a 10 minute conversation with her. Would not recommend.

She runs it as a business and very rush. She gave me a conclusion session and want to refer us to her center for therapy. Her attitude changed once I expressed that I want to do therapy elsewhere. She spent sessions testing IQ which we told her we have tested already. The real issue was not paid attention to. Unlike a blood test, bigger piece of psychological test/diagnosis are done through interaction between patient and doctor. She does not have the focus and calmness needed.

I am living in NY since 2012, practicing mostly as neuropsychologist. The Hollywood office does not work since 2011. Be careful with this site, somebody wants to hurt me! (the 3 reviews are very close in time and follow the same format)

The worst and most incompetent "professional" in the mental health field I have ever seen. Waited for a long time nevertheless office was empty. Heard her screaming like crazy from her office. During sessions with patients answered the phone. I felt she is totally ignorant about psycho pharmacology and barely about Psychiatric diagnosis. Overcharged the visit.. .. Please don't make a mistake by seeing her.

I had the unfortunate experience to meet Dr Malagold. I found a very arrogant and dishonest person. Her prices are ridiculously high and not worth it to pay for such amateur in the psychological arena. Her knowledge of psychology was superficial. I didn't feel I was speaking with an expert in mental health but rather a regular person. She was opinionated and critical in several opportunities. I don't even know how people like her are allowed to see patients. She was impolite and disrespectful with me during our conversation. Save yourself from the uncomfortable experience.
