List of Dan Costin's Reviews
My father died very uncomfortably under the care of this doctor. He and his staff exhibit very unthruthful and strange behavior, no one has even called my mother to see if he is still alive or check in on her which is unheard of. He prescribed many cancer treatments but the minute we realized something was off and got a second opinion my father was immediately put into hospice and able to rest finally.
Dr Costin gave me hope and encouragement on my lowest days when it seemed only bad news was coming my way. He basically saved my life...and continues to be a major cheerleader in my life through his kindness and understanding. Hes a special person.
Dr Dan Costin my esteemed oncologist is second to no other physician in his class. Very patient caring detailed and concerned about patient care I applaud him for the excellent service he continues to extend to the patients under his care. Thank you Dr Coster
The most compassionate, knowledgeable doctor Ive ever been fortunate enough to have received care from. From day one he and his remarkable staff were always positive, affirming and totally supportive. Quite frankly, I love him!
A wonderful Oncolgist, Dr Dan Costin is a hard working, caring person, who took me into his care and is keeping me cancer free. I am so blessed to have Dr Costin and his staff and all the staff at White Plains hospital taking care of me. Highly recommend Dr Costin.
I only met Dr. Costin once after my mom passed away from breast cancer last year. Dr. Costin took the time out of his day to meet with my family and I, so we could understand what had been happening medically in the weeks and days before the end of her life. He answered our questions with patience and kindness. It really helped in giving us closure. My mom was too young, only 64, when she passed, but considering her diagnosis and prognosis, I know she did really well overall, and Im thankful for that, as Im sure she was. She originally had a lump in her breast at 46. She found out it had metastasized to her bone at 53. She lived until the age of 64. That it still way too young to be taken from this earth, but in comparison to the statistics, she did amazingly well and fought hard! She was strong! I am sure Dr. Costins skill had a lot to do with her health over the years as well. Further, she would sometimes meet with other physicians and even though nothing had necessarily changed, she would at times feel discouraged. However, Dr. Costins positivity and ability to connect with her I believe that was so much a part of what kept her going. She worked fulltime until 5 days before she passed, and only 2 days before being admitted to the hospital. That will always amaze me. Getting cancer is out of your control, but choosing a good physician is not. I really believe Dr. Costin was amazing for my mom and gave her the best life possible.
I love Dr Costin. He is the warmest, smartest most compassionate Doctor I have seen.
Dr. Costin spends as much time as the patient needs discussing the diagnosis and treatment. He is the most compassionate doctor I have ever gone to. For these reasons I did not mind if I had to wait to see him. I knew he does not rush from patient to patient. He takes his time with each patient and is very patient with each one.
Dr. Costin has a great bedside manner, is very knowledgable and spends as much time as necessary with his patients. The office makes you feel well taken care of during what can be a difficult time. Wait time can be long but if it is you know that it is b/c he is giving someone who needs the time the time they deserve.
Great, always makes u feel better, is personal and attentive

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
