Dr. Rubin is kind, caring, thorough and beyond knowledgeable. He gives you his time and makes you feel comfortable. He explains everything in detail and reassures you, which is comforting. Dr. Rubin is one of the greatest men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I first met him, I was a terrified 24 year old athlete who had passed out a week before and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Rubin has this relaxing confidence about him where you just know as soon as you meet him that you'll be just fine. We worked together for about 2 years before I received a heart transplant in Newark. As I got worse towards the end, I will always remember the conversations I would have with Dr. Rubin and how comforting that was. In many ways, I owe Dr. Rubin my life, and most definitely my sanity going through everything. I recommend Dr. Rubin without reserve.
