Eva Polar's Online Review Report Card

It sucks that people had a negative experience with her but I did want to write my own experience with her as she’s been my doctor for about 4 years now. I’ve had great experiences with her, she’s super skilled, patient and understanding. In particular, she doesn’t make her patients that are considered overweight feel uncomfortable about their weight which is a huge plus because if you’re a patient that’s overweight or obese, it is so easy to feel uncomfortable, overlooked and misunderstood in the medical field because most doctors point any medical concern of yours as “due to weight” and rarely take you serious. She doesn’t make you feel this way, which overall makes the experience of getting an annual checkup a less frightening one.

She ridiculed the responses I gave to the mental health questionnaire. She never called me to inform me of the results of one of the most critical blood tests (I learned about them from the online system). She constantly raised her voice speaking with me. She always "refuted" what other doctors told me without explaining why I should believe her instead. She shouldn't be affiliated with NYP. Not recommended at all.

Press 1 for scheduling... beep. "NY Presbyterian please"... 20 minutes of hold music... Plenty of time to look up other PC Physicians. Bye Bye Dr. Polar!

First of all the receptionist is awful with a bad attitude then Dr. Polar is even worse. She is EXTREMELY uncaring and cold. She is in the wrong profession. One star is way to much

Dr.Polar is not particularly helpful. I would not recommend.

i have been calling for 3 days for a referral to be faxed. the receptionist has told me, "i'm not rushing to do anything". She has put me on hold for 20 minutes multiple times and has left the office while I was put on hold TWO DAYS IN A ROW. I showed up asking for the referral since she refused to help me over the phone and she asked me to leave. i will be switching my doctor because of her . WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! Nobody to speak to about this issue. one star is too many .

The receptionist is rude and unprofessional, she make getting an appointment extremely difficult. When you do get an appy with Dr Polar, you will wish you didnt! Icy, cold, brushes you off and you are the least significant part of her day. Please avoid her!

Dr.Polar is not someone I would recommend. She is very dismissive of all questions asked and does not seem interested in genuinely helping her patients. My experience with her was not positive. I found her very rude and was left feeling as though my time was wasted and I was honestly quite upset she had spoken to me in such a rude tone.

Very efficient doctor. Listens to problems & explains well. Only does scripts if necesary. Dr Raj is a perfect all round family doctor as she is young & motivated and someone who will follow your family as it grows and changes and has good solid advice and really listens to what your issues are. She is very pleasant and likes to explain things so you can put you mind at rest and she takes time to make sure you leave with all queries answered.

I am truly blessed to finally have found Dr. Eva Raj. She listens to your concerns, symptoms & how you're feeling. She addresses & will discuss all the possible steps, solutions to take so you can start feeling better. She is very patient, understanding & I never feel rushed, ignored or confused after my visit. Lovely Dr. with a genuine heart. The staff is wonderful! I'm always greeted with a smile & friendly hello. The waiting area is kept clean, plenty of space/seats while you wait. Thx!
