Everything was seamless!!! Support staff great!!! Ease of available appointments great!!! Response to care/concern/questions, Excellent. Professionalism of ALL medical staff SUPERIOR!!! Hospital staff, STELLAR!!!! Dr. Boettner came referred to me via 3 separate individuals. He's a busy guy who calls you at home post-op unsolicited to see how you are doing! I never felt rushed, and answered every and all questions.

Two hour wait to see him for first two appointments, and then spending less than 15 minutes with me. Refused to have any discussion of physical therapy as post operative option, and told me to get another surgeon if I wanted to have PT - WHILE I was on the table prepped in gown for surgery. No plan for post surgical visit in recovery until I pushed for an update to find out how it went in the operating room. Now having post operative complications with no improvement to mobility. Now looking for another Dr to pursue followup -

Dr Boettner is a world class surgeon, that i was so fortunate to have for my total knee replacement. I can’t say enough great things about The Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr Boettner and his entire team are incredible

Pay careful attention to the reviews of the doctor's personality. I did fabulously for the first month post surgery, was off narcotic pain killers in three days. By the end of the first month I was walking with a cane. I'm elderly, but was able to take care of myself without any assistance. Six months post hip replacement I have yet to determine whether he is half as good a surgeon as he thinks he is. I have pain issues which he claims are the result of not doing enough stretching exercises. He is totally fixated on his exercise regimen. The pain may be the result of a tendon injury which two radiologists could see on an MRI while he informed me I shouldn't have had done as you can't see anything on it. I hope my issues resolve on their own soon. I don't plan on seeing him ever again.

Dr Boettner is very thorough. My surgery went without a hitch. He answered all my myriad questions. He keeps in touch via email so you can always get info as needed. I am very satisfied with his expertise

**Excellent Results** with my total hip replacement surgeries with Dr. B. I was in my mid 40's when I had my first done two years ago and now just six weeks ago, I had my left done. I couldn't be more pleased with my results and the minimally sized scar and the care received by Dr. Boettner and team. I will be ready to snowboard this season and start pilates back up in a couple of months. So Happy!

Dr b is a brilliant surgeon as a rn I can truthfully say he is compassionate very kind confident in his work my husband very frightened had the worse set of knees totally rigid couldn’t walk ten years dr b performed total bilateral knee replacement confidently bec he would never have gone back for second knee dr b is not only organized caring for the pt pre-op but post-op amazing how structurally organized in the care and seeing you back watching your post op care to a t such a wonderful dr my husband is doing amazing it is worth wherever you live get into nyc see this skillful amazing dr
