Dr. Stern is the best neurosurgeon. He's not like others that will do surgery knowing it won't work. He's straightforward. He & Dr. Neubardt have done lumbar fusion & neck fusion. Both are amazing. Worth the wait!

Dr. Jack Stern preformed two major spinal surgeries on me this year. Dr. Stern is extremely talented, professional, compassionate, and personable. When I had my first consultation at Brain and Spine Surgeons of NY I was worried and anxious. Dr. Jack Stern met me at the doorway of his office, warmly greeted me, shook my hand , seated me and made me feel right at home in is office. Dr. Stern was able to calm me right down by telling me that I would be just fine. Dr. Stern told me about his medical background and experience. Dr. Stern explained in detail what his specialty was and how he planned on correcting my problems . Dr. Stern then focused on my spinal MRI and pointed out exactly where my injuries were and how he planned on fixing them. I left his office feeling confident and reassured . Dr. Stern answered all my questions. On the day of both surgeries I was met and reassured by Dr. Stern. He made sure I was comfortable and ready for surgery. To date I'm recovering nicely from both procedures. Every follow up visit I've receive the same amazing treatment from Dr. Stern and his staff!! Thank you Dr. Jack Stern for giving me my life back!!! I would absolutely recommend you to my family and friends.

Had spinal fusion on L3/L4 and have been on my feet up and about since day one. No more piercing pain. I could not be happier with the professionalism of the entire staff.I am so relieved and satisfied with the results of my surgery.

I have known Dr Stern for over 30 years and he has operated on my back and on my son's back and he was great. I can't imagine going anywhere else if you are having any problems with the back, spine, or any neurological problem he is the best.

Dr. Stern was very attentive, informative and assuring before surgery. Told me I would be in and out in one day. There was a problem during surgery and ended up being in the hospital for a few days flat on my back. Long and hard recovery. Dr. Stern was then difficult to get in touch during those difficult days. Two years later went back to him because I started with issues again. He dismissed me and told me there was nothing he could do for me. Still have issues!

He was an arrogant old man but I figured he'd do his job. TERRIBLE SURGEON in my opinion!!! Don';t trust him and Seth Neubardt!!! In my opinion, my back tells the story and I needed another surgery!!!
