Dr John Galeno is a great surgeon I have been his patient for over 20 years.

Dr. Galeno performed a very rare and risky spinal surgery on my mother at Westchester Hospital after she was in a severe car accident back in 2014. He was extremely knowledgeable and very realistic about the risks of this surgery. Here we are 8 years later and my mom is alive because of him. I feel like I owe this man my life because without him she wouldn't be here with me and my family today. Highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

The only Doctor in WESTCHESTER to operate on my 82 old aunt. Everyone else did not even try. My aunt walks now. The best! Hopefully as I age he will not retire and I can have him operate my knees Fidel Bernal

Dr. Galeno completely messed up my moms back 10x worse than it was before she went to him. So many things wrong with his surgery and professionalism. Glad to hear he’s not doing medicine anymore, obviously was never qualified in the first place.

I had my left knee replaced by Dr Galeno a few weeks ago. Dr Galeno is patient and makes sure to answer all of your questions. He is the BEST orthopedic surgeon here in Westchester County. I am now on the road to recovery thanks to him. I plan to have my right knee replaced by Dr Galeno within the next few months. He is an excellent doctor and I HIGHLY recommend him!

I give the Doc 5 stars but the Hospital he works with 1 star. I travel far 2+ hrs each way with severe pain and nerve damge to be treated by Dr Galeno because he listens and works with me to fix the problem.

Dr Galeno did all 5 of my back surgeries starting at age 21 until my last at age 26. I would not Recommend him due to his bedside manner. He never came to see me in the hospital after my surgeries and in 7 years as his patient he’s never once returned a phone call or spoken to me on the phone. He spends the bare minimum time with you I have timed my appointments and they’ve been as short as 2 minutes (I wish I was kidding). After 7 years I stopped seeing him not only because my back issues got worse with each surgery but because of his rudeness and entitlement. He perceives himself as a big shot because he’s well known in the hospitals.

Dr Galeno MD. Has been my doctor for many years he has done surgeries on my cervical spine (2x), and total hip replacement . I would not trust any other doctor with my body.

Dr Galeno has done a numerous amount of surgeries on me and I will continue my trust and faith in him because he does such awesome work and he explains everything you need to know and answers any questions you have. Dr Galeno is one of the most caring Dr’s you’ll come across. He listens to his patients and that tells you a lot.
