It is my opinion the best compliment anyone can leave about a surgeon is that I didn’t have to see him or her again. After my spinal fusion which two other doctors told me I would be out of work for at least a year I was able to return to work on a limited basis after 30 days and after 60 days, full duties. The pain to my back that was radiating to my leg were gone. I am able to do everything that I was able to do in my 30’s. I owe it all to Johns abilities. Also his staff was fantastic. No surprises when it came to my co-pay and insurance coverage. They were professional at every step. I highly recommend John. There is no one better.

Dr. Abrahams is an extremely compassionate and highly skilled neurosurgeon who, along with Dr. C. Shannon, saved my husband's life by removing a complicated malignant metastatic brain tumor during a very long surgery. In addition, Dr. Abrahams has been my surgeon for several spinal procedures and I trust him with my life.

Dr. Abrahams and Lisa and the rest of his team are the absolute best there is.... I have had nothing but an amazing experience from diagnosis and surgery to post op care and continued support and monitoring. They made the scariest news in my life bearable. I can't say enough about all they have given me since my first surgery 15 years ago and continue to this day.

Professional staff, walked me thru my entire surgery procedure. Dr. A made me feel comfortable about my surgery. Everything he stated happened exactly. I would not pick another surgeon.

😷 Dr Abrahams is THE BEST!He is the absolute best brain & spine surgeon by far! His group is beyond excellent!My back & neck had been fractured in an accident, and I made the mistake of seeing a "spine doctor on Tarrytown Road," who did not want to see me again unless I needed more surgery! I was outright denied an appointment, even after this "doctor" performed a lumbar laminectomy on me!!!😡I was miserable and in excruciating pain. Then everything changed....🙏THANK GOD I FOUND DR ABRAHAMS! He took all the time he needed with me to come up with a new plan and thoroughly explained the correct surgery I needed. I had a fractured sacrum, lower back S1, right up to L5, needing spinal fusion. I also had cervical herniations. My life changed after Dr Abrahams took care of my surgery, his office still checks up on me to make sure I'm doing well. The office and entire staff is so helpful, friendly and caring. I recommend Dr Abrahams on a regular basis to people I meet that have brain or spine problems. Dr Abrahams is also BRILLIANT. He is the creator of many medical devices that he received patents for. When you go in his office your eyes won't know what to look at first he has so many awards & patents. He's a MUST GO TO doctor! He changed my life, and I am forever grateful to him, Lisa (his personal coordinator), and his entire staff, fellow doctors that are also in group with Dr Abrahams. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM as well as the doctors in practice within his group. You will get the best care by far.😊

In 2012 I had a bi-lateral subdural hematoma (brain bleed). I was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center and fortunately Dr Abraham’s was there that day. He operated immediately and the operation was a success. Given the amount of cranial blood, this kind of surgery has a survival rate of approximately 5%. After 74 days of hospitalization I was released. I literally owe Dr. Abraham’s my life,

Dr. Abrahams fully explained the issues with my back and why I needed surgery. Detailed what the operation was going to entail, and then performed it without any issues. Three years later, I am still very happy with the results!
