Dr. Latzman is great, accommodating and thorough. The clerical office staff is inflexible and not compassionate as should be in a medical practice. I had a critical need to see a cardiologist. I called and was told that since I had not been there in 6 yrs (thankfully) I was considered a new patient and had to wait to see Dr. Latzman next month due to the process involved for new patients. Maple Medical should reassess clerical staff and their processes of every situation being different and not a scripted process. Desk staff should be more caring, welcoming and flexible to patients.

Dr Latzman was the on call physician on 4/22 for my 93 year old mother's medical group. He was rude, disrespectful, unkind and he doesn't know how to speak to people with compassion or courtesy. I wouldn't recommend him, he is a disgrace

Dr. Latzman is a very considerate, thorough, smart physician who communicates well. My most recent visit was complete, timely and the doctor answered all of my many questions. I feel extremely safe in his care. I believe his management of my cardiac condition saved my life three years ago. I am a physician and would recommend him to other physicians without hesitation. My experience with the ENT Clinic and Dr. Latzman, were among my worst. Perhaps the doctor was having an off day, but his receptionists are the most careless I've ever dealt with. Months ago, they canceled an appointment without telling me, then claimed they'd called when I showed up. This time, they wouldn't let me pay, saying I "have Medicare" when I told them I don't, and booked my followup under someone else's name. I found out when I got home. The doctor gave me a heart monitor on the hottest day of the year. He told me to go on an exercise regime but "not to perspire" because of the monitor, which would not stay on for the first four days. He also prescribed a necessary heart medication without refills even though he said I must take it daily. I'm currently trying to find out whether that is by design or because the other patient with whom the receptionist confused me has the refill instead.
