I have been going to the Dr. 3 years now..at first I didn't like her style ..but she is blunt and tells it like is and she knows her stuff. If you want life sugar coated, try another Dr.
While on weekend call, found her very difficult and argumentative while I'm trying to refill a prescription. Poor communication skills, disrespectful, abusive, lacks compassion. Did not even call back on a second refill of a prescription that was needed. Would not want to have her as one of my doctors. Should go back to school and learn how to be compassionate and caring to people in general. Should never be on call again.
Dr. Lalwani has absolutely no bedside manner. She is rude, condescending and disrespectful. Find someone else
I'm shocked by some raters calling Dr. Lalwani rude and inattentive. With me, she is the opposite: thorough, caring, and attentive. I am completely satisfied with her, and she is my primary care physician.
I found my visit very pleasant. When starting with a new doctor you have to give them all your information. Which is quite time-consuming. I found the doctor to be very detailed and very accurate on the information taken from me. The initial visit. I was having a pain in my neck and she examined me and I liked her input and her positive opinion. Thank you Dr Lalwani
I truly wonder if this doctor loves her career and love seeing patients or does she do this for money. I honestly wish I could get a response for this. Like asking her questions are nearly impossible she doesn’t seem to be able to discuss anything. I sit here and wonder why I even bothered getting up showering and coming to this appointment when she doesn’t want to hear anything I’m saying and when I suggest a solution she says no and then when I ask her for a solution she doesn’t give an answer. She doesn’t help at all and has a tendency to just walk out of the room without saying what she is going to do then walks back in like she didn’t just leave the room mid conversation
I did not appreciate the fact that when I would try to talk to her she brushed me off and continually spoke over me When I’m trying to let her know my concerns. She continually disregarded what I was saying and blatantly told me that I’m wrong. And I felt rushed when telling her things
Agree with the comment about poor bedside manner. Very poor communication skills, disrespectful, abusive, clearly sees patients as numbers, not individual people. Has no ability to see anything from the patient's view. If you see yourself as the primary decision maker as choosing solutions to your health, you will find her inability to discuss anything infuriating. Also, when I called to make an early morning appointment, the receptionist said "She's never here before 9:00, NOT HER!" as in, she can't be bothered.
I am 71 years old and began seeing Dr. Lalwani recently. She was very disrespectful and raised her voice whenever I asked her questions and would not allow me to complete my sentence. She even blew my HbA1c of 5.7 out of proportion and said I had very bad pre-diabetes. I was in tears and flustered by the end of the visit. I would not recommend her services to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
