List of Ronald Harlan Weissman's Reviews
Just left that office earlier today. He was arrogant, unwilling to look at the medical history that I brought for him (important info. about new chemo treatment protocol and the impact on my heart) saying he knew everything already from the computer in front of him. He kept his eyes there and never attempted to make eye contact or even ask me why I came to see him or what problem I was having. He just rattled off some incorrect data he was reading from the hospital computer site. When I asked him didn't he want to know why I was there, he said he already knew everything from the (dated) computer information in front of him. He was completely disinterested in anything I tried to say and talked down to me like I was ignorant about my own medical history. He was demeaning, constantly challenged my knowledge and veracity, and told me he knew enough without getting any medical information from me. It was just his (irrelevant and incorrect) agenda attacking me. Stay away.
I have met Dr. Weissman for Cardiology Consultation. He is the only cardiologist who is knowledgeable and is willing to spend more than one hour to explain my situation (mitral valve regurgitation). Through his explanation, my wife and I have total understanding of what, why, how to fix the issue. I will definitely recommend Dr Weissman if you need help about your heart issue.
It is my good fortune to have Dr. R. Weissman as my cardiologist. Having been his patient for over a year I am more than pleased with the care I have received. Dr. Weissman is extremely caring and competent and always takes the time to listen and in turn provides a very comprehensive course of action taking all factors into account. Having a cardiologist you can have full faith and confidence in is crucial. I recommend Dr. Weissman without hesitation for all the reasons stated. Additionally, his office staff is terrific and deserves kudos for their professionalism.
If I could give less then one star I would. Dr. Ronald Weissman ordered a test, then never reviewed and left us waiting in the hospital for an entire day and night. He did not respond to any of the half dozen messages left on his service. As the doctor on call he certainly did not do his job.
My internist referred me to Dr. Weissman last month, says he is "the best." What a sham. First, he is not even in the office when my appt comes and so shows up over an hour late. He tells me he had a emergency he was dealing with..He did spend a nice amount of time with me and had some good recommendations but on my way out I overheard another doctor asking him how his golf round was...you may be "the best" but you are a liar and I will not come back to see you Matthew Lopez
Doctor Ronald H Weissman is a brilliant and astounding human being. He has foreseen and prevented a fatal fatality, thus allowing me to personally commend him on his professionalism. I highly recommend Doctor H Weissman. He deserves all 5 stars. R. J. De Santis NYC

Should never have been paid by insurance company. No follow up, saw me once for fifteen minutes. Told me to return after a year. This is a doctor who takes care of chronic illness........I think not! Consumer beware!!!!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
