List of White Plains Hospital's Reviews
I have been in and out of this hospital's emergency room and in patient unit, cardiac stress tests, you name it. As a person with disabilities, I know all to well that bad days will happen. Especially, now during Covid. In general my experiences have been wonderful but their were times when they were not. I have to keep in mind that we are all human and there will be situations that will evoke emotions that will bring staff to a breaking point. That happens in every hospital. When it does happen I try to empathize and act opposite.
This is the best Hospital in all NY.I was here for covid19.I had the Best attention for everyone so professional.
my mother works here
I'm writing this review based on my Aunt's stay. She was treated very well, and talks about the Hospital like she was at the Ritz Carlton.Every staff member that entered her room addressed her by her last name. They also introduced themselves. She was Impressed.

Absolute worst customer service ever. Billing and Customer Service is horrendous. It took me 4 months to get in touch with someone about my bill. I had to send a complaint to the NYS Department of Health for them to even call me back. After calling, leaving messages, and writing complaints, I finally talked to the Department Director who basically fed me lies just to get me off the phone. I was promised a call back a day later and I eventually had to call back a month later because nobody ever called. I was told everything was handled and I get my next bill and what do you know? Nothing has changed. By far the worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. Over 4 months of calling (50+ calls), the phone was answered 4-5 times. The few times I did get in touch with someone they would always say someone would call me back and I've been ghosted every single time.
I called the MD navigation line and I spoke to a very kind, generous and friendly lady Jessica who helped me amazingly in finding a right pediatrician for my child. I can go on and on about her services that how accommodating she was in answering all my questions with patience. I felt like I was talking to a friend. Thanks Jessica for your help. Thanks white plains hospital for having gem employee like Jessica in your team.
My husband was admitted for COVID pneumonia. Doctors and staff are excellent. I would highly recommend this hospital. As far as the review for the ER that was posted, 40 minutes to wait to be seen is nothing. In Putnam and Dutchess counties, you have to wait a minimum of 6 hours, if you get seen at all.
wouldnt let my bf go see his uncle because he was under 18 by a year. who stops someone from letting them see their family members at a hospital? its a disgrace
I took my friend here who was in severe pain only to wait 40 minutes to be helped, while he is laid down vomiting, shivering, and moaning from the pain that he is in. No one was in a rush to help us, everything was very relaxed, no sense of urgency. We kindly asked a male doctor/nurse that walked by to help us throw out a bag that my friend was using to vomit only to be rudely dismissed. The other nurses were very friendly but if you are in need of immediate help I do not recommend coming here, unless it is your last resort.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
