List of Wound Care Internal Medicine's Reviews
Dr. Yang was thoughtful and listened. He didn’t jump to treatment for anything and seemed very knowledgeable. I’m very happy!
He's very professional, efficient, courteous and truly listens to whatever issues you may have. He's also extremely knowledgeable. Very happy with him as my doctor!
Since I met the doctor he has helped me treat my asthma and other conditions he's kind of courteous besides manners great I recommend him
(Get ready, this is a long one!) I'm not sure why there are so many positive reviews about this doctor, perhaps I just have bad luck. In my experience (which seems to be an outlier, according to the other patients' testimonies) Dr. Yang seems to diagnose problems inaccurately and prescribes medications willy nilly. Without giving away too much of my sensitive medical history, it seems that Dr. Yang prescribed medication to treat a condition without administering the proper tests to confirm that I have said condition. I've received a second medical opinion and there seems to be inconsistencies in what Dr. Yang told me versus what was shown in my lab work. Additionally, his explanations for prescribing medication to me seemed a little strange, since according to my lab work I don't need to take those medications? And I'm not saying this because I asked Dr. Google, I'm saying this because the second opinion from a medical professional was wondering the same thing. It just seemed strange. Moreover, each time I saw Dr. Yang my weight seemed to be his top concern (and not my labs). Besides using an out-dated BMI scale to declare that I am morbidly obese (I'm not, I just have hips and a butt) Dr. Yang continuously advised me to switch out other medications so that I can lose weight. I'm no doctor, but this feels a bit unethical? I kind of need those other medications...but I digress. He even told me to ask my OBGYN to insert an IUD so I can lose weight (I'm on the pill currently) even though my OBGYN advised me against it because, as those with a uterus know, it's EXTREMELY painful for those who haven't had children. Dr. Yang's bedside manner feels out of touch for those who aren't thin. Despite my lab work being normal, he treated me as though my weight had some kind of awful impact on my health (it doesn't. I can breathe, walk, exercise, and do daily activities without any issues). He also doesn't take into account that I had surgery a while ago, leaving me immobile for MONTHS which is probably why I gained weight...I am JUST starting to be able to walk long distances/run again (I literally had to learn how to walk again post-surgery) so prescribing medication in attempt to speed up the weight-loss process seems dangerous and, quite frankly, fatphobic. I will definitely not be seeing this doctor again. This was a lesson for me to make sure I start advocating for myself when doctors like this don't offer real, ethical solutions.
Dr.Yang is the best doctor I've ever had the privilege of seeing. He is attentive and thorough and clearly cares about his patients. The practice nurse Ms.Chacha is wonderfully efficient and kind. She stays on top of everything flawlessly. This practice is truly a hidden gem that I'm glad that I found. 10 out of 10.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
