Great doctor !! I am bringing my 3 kids there for last few years and cannot ask for a better doctor. Always spends plenty of time discussing our issues and rushes us out of the door like some our previous doctors . He is very knowledgeable and well experienced doctors . Appointments are easy to made and on time . Office provides excellent support with the paperwork for schools and day care .

I’ve read good things about this doctor but I am very confused. Two years ago, our pediatrician retired and at some point we were referred to this doctor but then we’re notified that the doctor was not taking new patients. Today I called and I explained that and asked if they were taking new patients. The receptionist said it depends on the age of the child and insurance and once I told her that, she said to to hold on. I don’t know if the phone disconnected or she hung up. I called back and another receptionist picked up asked what doctor it was that retired, and said yes he agreed at the time and then was overwhelmed and the patients took all their records back. So two years ago, he was overwhelmed which I understand but what I don’t understand is what it has to do with which doctor I had previously and what the story was 2 years ago. If they are not taking new patients, they could have just said that.

Not only the Best Dr. but the best staff as well!! The girls all make you feel comfortable and right at home at the office. They all truly care about your children!! I wouldn't use any other pediatricians office for my kids. We love Dr. Carvan!

I originally encountered Dr Carvan at Queens Presbyterian Hospital. He was the dr for my daughter I just given birth too. I now take all 5 of my children to his pediatric clinic in Whitestone. I never in my life met any doctor that will go outta their way to show me how to make formula bottles to meet the needs of my underweight child. He's a really amazing doctor and counsels you through every visit .. He really cares and that is what matters the most.

Dr. Caravan and his staff are amazing. Kids are supposed to be afraid of doctors but my kids love to visit doctor Caravan. He is extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He explains everything very well.
