Harris Hill Nursing Facility's Online Review Report Card

My mothers stay was okay but there was aide that needs to learn that this is her job to take care of the residents without the attitude towards doing her job. And further more, whoever that nurse was that was being rude and cruel towards my mother needs to be fired, her attitude is unacceptable and ghetto. I said what I meant and I meant what I said.

This is a very uncaring and stale environment. My Mom went here, for rehab, after her knee surgery. She was bullied by a nurse - unbelievable! Also, they would not let her go to the toilet alone and required her to ring her call button. When she followed those instructions, it took the staff about an hour to come attend to her needs. If you care for your loved ones, don’t send them here.

My father was in the facility for 21 days, with NO SHOWER, the staff was too busy every time he was scheduled. The staff complained to my father that his use of the bed pan, was extra work for them. My father also stated the staff has no respect for their patients or each other. Sad place to send you family member when they need a little extra help.

Should your loved one in a wheel chair require A wheel chair van from Medicare you are not going to get it. You have to pay a lot for it. The facility does not offer wheelchair van service. The coordinator didnt know what to do about it. Two important Doc appointments were missed, hopefully we wont be charged for that. Apparently they are very short staffed will ill equipped coordinators and managers.

Disgusting. One star is too much for this place.

Very poor facility. A friend was there only 4 or 5 days and not washed up or shaved. I guess hygiene is not a concern there. I wouldn't let my dog stay there.

They are not following the visitor fact sheet they posted and a resident is upset, if the fact sheet is wrong they need to fix it immediately the fact sheet stated under 16yo are able to visit as long accompianed with an adult ,and now we are being told we cant after already having a visit outside not even in the building .

Deplorable ! What a shame . They take literally 1:50 hours to come in and take a patient who is not allowed out of bed alone to the bathroom . This is not a one time incident, it is every single time. Their constant excuse is they are understaffed ! So the patients should not receive proper care ?? My mom could not choose another facility thanks to health insurance ( she was here once before snd received the same exact care ) she was very upset that she had no choice but to go here AGAIN ! They literally told her to soil herself and they would clean her up .. this is a child’s greatest fear, and family is not allowed to visit or help ! Administration here must be blind.. from looking through the reviews , it’s obvious administration responds to the positive ones ! I’m guessing they are friends writing bogus reviews because nobody could think this place is great !! Think twice if you have an option , before sending a loved one here ! The negative reviews are SPOT ON ! Once my mom cones home , we will be contacting the health department .

GREAT PLACE. CLEAN, NICE HELPFULL NURSES, ALL EMPLOYEES. GREAT FOOD. IF I EVER NEED REHAB THIS IS WHERE I WOULD GO. THEY HELPED ME TO GET ME TO WALK BETTER AN MY EXCERISE ALSO. MILLION THANKS

Its nice to know reviews get removed because it doesn't suit the location or facility. Truth was told but I guess some realize it and are too whiney to actually handle it. Thanks McGuire Group!!! Good to see how professional you are. MERRY CHRISTMAS
