Jeffrey P. Mullin's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mullins is the best “ Train wreck” back surgeon in Western NY. It took my wife and I almost two yearsl too decide that Dr. Mullin was the right Doctor for her very complicated surgery. Dr. M literally rebuilt my wife’s spine. The surgery took almost 17 hours to complete. I’m happy to say almost a year of rehab and hard work. My wife is walking Over 2 miles and she no longer suffers the Chronic pain she dealt with for over 10 years. Thank you Dr. Mullin!

Dr. Mullen and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I always had my questions answered and received excellent treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Mullen. Great care!

Dr Mullin is okay but the staff at UB Neurosurgery is horrible. I called in excruciating back pain after having a laminectomy performed and multiple office visits… over the past year and a half. They tell me to call to my oncologist who treating me for BRAIN cancer nothing to do with my back. Basically refusing to help… horrible. Then staff plays the victim when if they would just do their job with some empathy and professionalism this all could have been avoided.

I can’t thank Dr.Mullin enough!! Before seeing Dr. Mullin, I saw 3 other neurosurgeons who didn’t listen to me and didn’t take the time to understand what I was going through. Dr. Mullin did! To make a long story short, I had a fusion done by another provider and since that fusion I had severe pain in my leg and I was no longer able to feel my leg. Dr. Mullin agreed to remove some screws out of my back and it helped!! I can’t thank him enough! I have a much better quality of life and able to finally live in little to no pain. Thank you again!!!!

My honest opinion is he is very informative and knowledgeable but from my thoracic spine surgery in December of 2018, I was told so many times 6 to 8 months of recovery and I'm worse off now than before the surgery. Seemed to me that scare tactics and false promises had been a great way to get that check. Still to this day I have not recovered I walk with 2 canes or a walker when needed, was 3 or 4 times following surgery then was pretty much told to kick rocks and good life. I can no longer work as I am now a liability to companies as a high Risk of fall injury. To go from a limp to needing help doing daily task because I got scared after being told I would no doubt paralyze myself with out surgery I'd definitely look at a 2nd opinion even a 3rd before ever having surgery with false claims being made as he said he did the same surgery to a pro football player and less than a year was back on practice

They gave me a shot with a damaged needle then 3 weeks i was in the hospital having major surgery to clean off the infection i got for that needle. Im still suffering from it two months later

Wonderful surgeon! I'd recommend him to any friend or family member.

The worst Doctor I’ve ever seen, did not fix my back problem and gave me new pain in my leg.

Dr Mullin is the best. He actually cares about his patients. I am very thankful for what he has done for me. I couldn’t have found a better neurosurgeon to help me with my issues. His staff is just as wonderful as he is.
