For the past 2 month’s his office told me that dr stoffman would be able to help me. I sent list of symptoms and MRI. His office said he could not read the mri, and that I needed a new one. I said ok, booked the MRI at pro scan buffalo. Then 4 days before my consult they tell me dr stoffman has reviewed my materials and can not help me and cancelled my appointment. How can you review my materials when you do not have an MRI? So now I had to cancel hotels, cancel imagining, cancel child care and tell my work the time I booked off, and the persons they had scheduled to come in, is no longer needed. This was incredibly rude and not thoughtful at all.

Dr Stoffman performed a discectomy and fusion at two levels in my neck last Janauary. It was a surgery I dreaded having to go through and by far it was the easiest surgery I have ever had. He was so professional and understanding. Would recommend him and his PA's. Office staff is wonderful at Niagara Falls location.

I have had two spinal surgeries done by Dr. Stoffman in the last 11 years. His office has grown exponentially but he is still as great a Doctor as ever. His office is well run, clean, and the people that work there are kind, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way possible. They have made a scary time not so scary. They give you written materials to read specifically about your issue. They make your appointments for you, remind you of your appointments and help you register once you come in for those appointments. What a great practice!

After seeing Dr. Stoffman for a lower back problem, I came away very disappointed. After having the x-rays and MRI and reviewed the results with him, he guaranteed that he could correct my problem and definitely he said he would take my pain away. I agreed to the surgery based on what he told me. One year later, after rehab, at my one year appointment with him, my pain was still there and it was worse. He then said to me "that I will just have to suck it up" I wasted my time and money on this guy and I say stay away from him.

Dr Stoffman helped me perform a microdisecectomy for my l5 s1 disc herniation. I am a Canadian living in Toronto and the pain was so severe I could not walk at all for 2 months. The Free Canadian Health system could not book me in to see a surgeon on time. My given time frame in Canada was 4 months for an MRI and 2 years to schedule surgery if I am Lucky. Without other options, I contacted Dr Stoffman’s Office. He managed to book my MRI and see me within 14 days, and scheduled my surgery 13 days later. It’s been 24 hours after surgery and I feel great! My leg pain has been completely removed and the surgery area doesn’t even hurt without any pain medication. Though I am resting and taking things easy, I already feel normal again and can probably walk a mile without any issue. And this is only 1 day after surgery. Very professional surgeon with very good result. Highly recommended! Even though I had to pay out of pocket for the surgery, it was worth every penny for me. Thank you!

Have gone numerous back surgeries and another 1 ahead of me in a few years. Dr Stoffman is strictly a professional and just business. No surgeon has time to sit and chat with hens and crows. He has patients to see Patients to help walk again as he did for me. He is the up most professional with knowledge up to date on his job. Back surgeries may take longer then others because of many factors in your health or smoking cigarettes which cause you not to heal as good as others. Keep up the great work you do Dr.Stoffman helping people get their life's back.

I had a c5 c6 fusion done I woke up in the recovery room and felt better immediately. This man is great,And right to the point. Highly recommende him.

Absolutely 100% without a doubt the WORST place you could go for Back Surgery, DR. Stoffman told us my wife needed surgery for a debilitating back condition, which he assured us a spinal fusion was the correct option, and would eliminate the pain and restore her ability to complete everyday tasks. We reluctantly agreed to surgery, on Nov 19th, immediately after surgery she was in severe pain even worse than before, told after 6 weeks it would be better over-the hump, nope 100% worse, with more pain now radiating into legs far worse as well as her feet. The implanted screws are clearly visible in her back, which in itself does not seem correct but they say its fine. Now they have her on so many meds just to try to deal with the pain she is only up 4hrs a day, this is unacceptable, we have been back numerous times and basically told “we fixed you” the heck he did she is even worse. And now she has clearly visible “screw heads in her back” just imagine sitting in a chair against those. Its now July 24th and we are just left “high and dry” told nothing is wrong. She is so medicated just to deal with pain, her life is limited to sleeping and not much else. We sold our bikes, which we used to love to ride no option never will ride again, basically loosing everything as she can no longer work, and he claims she is “fixed” so no way to pursue anything. Obviously there is a severe issue, pain radiating from where he did his ‘so called spinal fusion “ . In my opinion they are blowing us off now as to try to save their reputation as such a high success rate. This is a 100% failed surgery !! His teams response “try to return to work” lol. Let Dr. Stoffman try to work on high dose muscle relaxers, and gabapentin. Try driving to work high on those, or basically doing anything for that matter. Avoid this location and this doctor at all costs.

Dr Stoffman told me that he could stop my back pain by doing surgery on my lower back. I agreed to have him do the surgery. However after the surgery and 18 months later I still have the same pain in my lower back. It was a big waste of time and money. It's clear that he gets paid even if he does nothing for you.

I have more pain in my lower back now than I ever had a full year after he operated on me. I never saw him after the surgery. Only the PA. I tried to make an appointment to see him after the surgery but I was told that you can't have an appointment with him, only a PA. I found him to be very arrogant. Very bad experience with him. Stay away.
