List of Paul J Kubiak's Reviews
Dr Kubiak was recommended by my insurance company and based on his profile, he seems to have impeccable credentials. However, I couldn't reach his office to make an appointment. Every phone number listed on his website and various online listings was incorrect and no matter how much I tried, it was impossible to make an appointment with him. I can only conclude that he no longer practices, his offices have all closed, or he simply doesn't exist.
I broke my foot Thanksgiving 2020, South Nassau hospital wanted to do surgery .I signed out to get a second opinion . Two doctors told me I needed surgery , Dr Kubiak told me my shattered heal would be fine. Dr Kubiak, was excellent he casted my foot perfectly ( it was very swollen ) the cast was very supportive . He was very kind in prescribing pain medication , he checked my foot about every two weeks . I am happy to say I was able to snow board in March 2021, my foot feels good. This is an excellent doctor so happy I didn’t listen to some other reviews. I have referred my neighbor who also was very happy.
He behaved in a very, very unprofessional manner, im reluctant to say anytimg else ...please stay away
I am still in disbelief the way this physician practices. To anyone looking to come to his office please don't. My uncle was scheduled to have a hip replacement surgery in two weeks. He had to go to the hospital to have pre-surgical testings done this week and we just received a call stating Dr. Kubiak is no longer going to be practicing or doing surgeries what kind of foolery is this. This office is probably the most unprofessional and unethical place i have been to. I wish someone would have warned me prior to me bringing my uncle in to see this doctor. To make matters worse my uncle paid $400 dollars to change his flight to make sure he made it on time to his surgery and none of this was taken into consideration when canceling his surgery. In addition i spoke with a manager by the name of Sandy in the office and all she had to say was "well we were just notified what can we do". What kind of physician notifies you that he is leaving a practice one day before a patient is scheduled to have test done in the hospital. Mind you i spoke with his surgical coordinator on Thursday and I get a call on Monday "ohh the physician is leaving the practice". This entire office is ridiculous. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME. They do not even deserve one star.
I had knee replacement surgery done by Dr Enker. He came highly recommended to me and now I can say the same. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He takes pride in his work. My scar is less noticeable than other friend’s scars I have seen who had a different doctor.
Since I have to place a star consider it a negative one. What kind of a doctor tells the patient I am not going to see you. His claim was that his xray machine was not working so he wouldn't even see me. He couldn't care less that I had a fracture. He could've looked at the film from radiologist with the report I brought. Why didn't you tell me before I came that there was an issue with the xray if you would not even see me. Terrible person.
I came in for a fracture which needs to be taken care of right away. After dealing with the headache of them getting my referral which took an hour then they tell me that the X-ray machine is broken and the doctor would not see me. They couldn’t tell me this before. It tells you the character of such a doctor. Some.are there to take care of patients and some are just nasty and arrogant who couldn’t care less that I have a fracture and have been waiting without notifying me before
Avoid this place at all costs. I got hit by a car when I was 8-9 years old. Ive had knee problems ever since and was supposed to get surgery. I came here now, at age 22 years old for the pain i go through every single day. Most times I cannot even walk because the pain is unbearable. The woman who works there told me the MRI says there is nothing wrong with my knees. and to go therapy. I am getting a second opinion. The staff also has a disgusting additude and seems bothered and rushes you!
Well I came prepared with my MRI and xrays in hand. He takes one look at it and says yup major surgery tear in the miniscus and acl. That's it major surgery he says. He wasn't friendly at all didn't get the sense of him being caring.when I asked questions he was kind of sarcastic as if it was a dumb question or I should already know the answer. But the one thing I did like is for the pre surgical testing he got all testing done on me to make sure I'm a good candidate for surgery
Great doctor with excellent bedside manners. I would see him again

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
