Dr. Krackower has a bad bed side manner. He does not listen to you and only expects you to listen to him. He never looks you in the eyes as he is too busy looking at his computer. I wonder sometimes if it is my file he looks at so much of the next patient. I have severe arthritis and I am 180 lbs 5' 9" this Doctor had the never to tell me the pain in my back was caused by the 5 lbs I gained in 3 months. Meanwhile I was the same weight at the same time last year. My weight goes down in the summer and yet I still have back pain. However, for a provider to suggest you are fat is totally unprofessional. This Dr. is also very rude and condescending when you ask questions like how dare you ask me what I say goes. He has no idea how much my body aches with pain and he never will cause he is not professional. He is only in it for the money at this point I feel because of his age he will be retiring soon. He does not give a darn about the patient. If you can not have a decent doctor/patient relationship you have nothing with your doctor. Been with him for years time to move on. Tired of being ridiculed by this man.
Prompt, efficient, pleasant, listened carefully, comprehended what I was trying to convey, removed some fears I had about my health. Altogether a good visit. Would recommend wholeheartedly.
I have had Dr. Krakower for over 6 years now and he is excellent. He has helped me enormously in my health areas and always does a 3 month check up. I am very pleased with him and his office staff.
Misdiagnosed my husband ad NUMEROUS others.
I was very concerned when this Doctor kept looking at the floor while suggesting referrals for my health issues. I should have addressed this with him. Unfortunately, I did not as I felt very uncomfortable with his behavior.
Good doctor, I've had him now about 3 years with as many treatments for lymes disease.
There is something very unsettling with a person who doesn't make eye contact with you let alone your doctor. All he focused on was my weight. (I'm not extremely obese but could lose some weight). I went there for other issues and non were really addressed. I would not recommend him at all.
Dr. Krakower spent the first half of our visit staring at my breasts while addressing me and listening to my concerns, the other half (upon learning my profession) studiously avoiding any visual contact with me at all. I don't feel a doctor should be so uncomfortable with a woman's body that he cannot control his gaze. As uncomfortable as that was, it was not my biggest complaint. The best demeanor I could describe him with is a cold indifference as he rushed through our session. I wrote a list before coming to make sure I didn't forget to discuss anything, which he took from me halfway through the list (it was not especially long, though I hadn't been to a doctor in many years and had a handful of concerns that needed addressing). He completely ignored a number of my concerns, such as frequent headaches, skin fungal infections, and rashes. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, especially other women. Very uncomfortable experience overall.
Good!!!!!!!!
This particular "doctor," who obtained his MD in the Dominican Republic, apparently eschewing the highly competitive entrance rate of acceptance into U.S. based medical schools, especially during a period of time when doing such was even far less than it is today, was so remarkably lacking in understanding, comprehension, and the ability to follow plain conversation, I was entirely stupefied as to how he carried on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
