This doctor is no good, not professional, with very little knowledge about medicine a book worm who passed the board, unfortunately we have so many like that who pass the board but they don't know anyting. And only think of their patient as a cash cow. Do yourself a favor and go to another doctor.

Sweetest Dr, Excellent bed side manor. Quick appointments; on time appointments, if you have a 10am you are seen at 10am. I have 4 children, Dr.Sunku sees my baby, I drive from the Bronx to Yonkers because she is so worth it, my others are teenagers so they wanted to stick to their doctors... but I would change to her if they’d let me. My baby has asthma and has been hospitalized for it and she has always been on me and checks in on him to see how he’s been doing. And she’s not that dr that is into medication if it’s not needed.

This was not one of my kids best visits. There was no compassion from the doctor, on the other hand, the nurses were very kind and informative.

My wife and I choose to see Dr. Sunku because she was the pediatrician at the hospital she gave birth at so it made sense at the time. At our first checkup the nurse practitioner took more time with my child than Sunku did. When she came in the room it felt like I was at a fast food drive thru and as soon as she came in she was gone. After that day I called the office so they could send a prescription over to my pharmacy that my child needed. I ended up calling twice and I left two messages in the online portal, they told me Sunku would call me….she never did and I never got that prescription. One day before my child’s 1 month follow up appointment I get a call from her office asking if I had gotten her insurance card yet. I told them no, I was still waiting for her information in the mail. They tell me okay but that I would have to self-pay out of pocket, which I said okay to. The receptionist then puts me on hold and after a minute comes back on the phone and tells me that I would have to reschedule until the insurance information comes in! Before I could process what just happened she hangs up the phone on me. So literally after telling me I could pay out of pocket, they changed their mind and cancel the appointment 1 day before and leave my daughter and I hanging out to dry. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews here and do not take your child here. I found another pediatrician who took my daughter w/o a problem and has a million times better bedside manners. I have a feeling Sunku has soo many patients that either she doesn’t care or can’t show everyone the amount of time/care they truly deserve. Her front staff isn’t groomed well at all for their positions either. It’s all about the money with this office and if your gut tells you to look at other doctors, don’t look back and never come here again.

This office definitely needs to learn manners and how to speak to patients . The doctor has no accommodation for emergencies at all. I had 2 occasions where my kids needed to see the doctor and I was told go to urgent care because the doctor can not see them. The guy at the front desk had the nerve to say oh "please hold let me ask the doctor to cancel all her appointments just to accommodate your family" after going back and forth as to why do I need to sit at urgent care for hours when they have a pediatrician. Unless you don't need shots or a regular check up they will not see you at all. The list can go on. My recommendation to the office is definitely a no no. The doctor needs to train her staffs to be respectful to her patients. The guy was so nasty speaking to me I had to tell him about himself. He wanted to charge me a fee for my kids records which is fine but it was being emailed not printed. He mention i have to pay that fee because of hippa and they have to print it. Overall I'll never go back there at all...good luck to those who does.

Excellent Doctor i really like her my son love her and he is never afraid to go on a visit, she see him since he was born i never have a issue staff are very nice as well.

I have been taking my kids to doctor Sunku since my daughter was born. My daughter is now 3.5 and my son is 8 months. I've taken both kids several times for all sorts of issues (ear infections, colds, sprains). She has always been knowledgeable and shown her expertise and professionalism at all times. Her staff has been friendly and efficient.

Very unprofessional will not recommend anyone to them!!!!
