Dawn Rush's Online Review Report Card

coming from a person whos been going to this doctor for 11 years, i just wanna say that she has never been rude nor has she yelled at me. shes a amazing person whos always been kind to me and my sister and i am sure she has great experience with other kids younger than me (im fourteen at the time of making this). i just had a appointment a few weeks ago, it was quick but i was fine. these reviews absolutely infuriated me so i just wanted to respond

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. First of all I wait an hour and a half just to be seen for 5 minutes. She came in right off the bat and was totally rude to my son and I. She yelled at him multiple times and kept rolling her eyes because he wouldn’t answer her questions (I answered for him) she walked out without even saying a word. I had to ask the front desk if he needed glasses or if anything was wrong because she told me nothing. She has no business working with people at all. I will never set foot in this office again. Do yourself a favor and go see another Dr. you will not regret it.

I just had my son first visit today with Dr. Dawn. She is RUDE. Does not have patience to deal with children. I will not recommend her and I will make a complaint with caremount.

No social distancing in her office. The waiting room was packed with kids. They over booked and we ended up waiting an hour to see the doctor. Find another eye doctor for your children.

Dr Rush has been my daughter's doctor since she was 1 and a half. In 2014 my daughter needed eye surgery and there isn't anyone besides Dr Rush that I would want for the surgery. it was a success and my daughter has been going ever since. I drive almost an hour and a half to bring my kids to see her and I don't mind because I know my kids are seeing the best eye doctor out there!

One of worst office staff I ever see, do not recommend.

Horrible customer service. No one answers the phone and when you leave a message you will not get a returned phone call. My daughter had two appointments cancelled for no reason. We did not receive a phone call about the cancellation or a reason why it was cancelled.

We were recommended to Dr Rush on emergency from our pediatrician. She thankfully squeezed us in that day and knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. Their office is wonderful and even offered to work with us if our insurance didn’t cover the visit. Thankfully in the end our insurance did. We just went back for our recheck and thankfully we are all good for a year. Dr Rush was very knowledgeable and personable; and knew how to run her appointments. I couldn’t believe how many rooms she had filled and saw them all accordingly and within the apt time. We will miss not seeing her for the year! I couldn’t recommend her more!!!

Very long wait time.And when I complained to Dr. Rush about waiting over an hour for our scheduled apt, she said to find a new Doctor as that's the way it is at her office. No apology, didn't understand an hour is unreasonable, actually insulted that I said anything.Taken aback, I asked if she was serious, she said yes.So, after begging her to at least do the exam since we waited so long, she did. She would only speak to my 11 yr old daughter. Wrote up the new prescription, handed it to her and left the room.Maybe one of the most awkward five minute interaction in my life. So, we got our records and that's that.
