I have read the ad for free tuition for someone pursing an associates in nursing . Does Akron Children’s employee nurses with associate degrees? If so, Will you mandate they continue their education for a BSN ? Is this open to “anyone” who is employed at Akron Children’s.

Way to go. Let’s fire those nurses who refuse the vaccine yet let’s the COVID POSITIVE nurses work just bc they got the vaccine. What a shame. Truly.. and it’s the children who are going to suffer the most from all this. To all of those who are commending such a tragedy.. do not complain when you’re waiting 2-3 days in an ER just to have your child admitted. Or when you contract Covid due to being surrounded by positive cases due to the ones who are vaccinated being allowed to work there. 5 days isn’t enough time to quarantine. Covid is real.. it is scary.. but don’t think that the unvaccinated are the only ones who contract and spread it. I feel so sorry for all those who lost their career due to such selfish acts of monopoly dictating what people can and cannot do with their own lives. Truly a shame. 😫

Letting nurses go because their medical/religious exceptions were not accepted? Ridiculous. However when a nurse that works OR/ICU or whatever else floor test positive for COVID can work because they have been vaccinated gives it to an extremely sick patient what are y’all going to do? Everyone is so concerned about protecting themselves from the unvaccinated it’s unreal. I have never heard of a single shot divide so many people. It’s a shame and truly not worth it.
