Ian M Gradisar's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Gradisar has been a true partner in determining the best approach to my orthopedic care. I am excited to be able to start 2020 with 2 new hips and a new lease on life, in large part due to his focus on excellence and his willingness to have discussions to understand what was best for me- clinically, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Needing a double hip replacement at age 46 wasn’t in my plan- Dr. Gradisar worked with me to understand the whole picture, and focused on finding the best options for me short and long term with the help of another great- Dr. Laskovski.

My surgeon referred my to Dr Gradisar (who he knows) f pir as second opinion after knee replacement last year. My surgeons office sent over the necessary paperwork. I called to get an appointment. The person I spoke with (rather rude) said the Dr will review the notes and make a decision as to whether he wants to "take my case". Heard back a few days later and was told "he said no". I asked why and was told just because he said no. I was given no explanation. My surgeon was completely taken off guard in the response. Perhaps he wouldn't see me for a second opinion because there isn't much in it for him. What a terrible way for a Dr to be. To me he is in it for the money...nothing else.

If you want to be ridiculed go to Dr. Gradisar his assistant Chance will do it for you and if your over weight he won’t look at you at least that’s what Dr Chance said but of course I was told that dr Gradisar didn’t operate on my ankle 4 yrs ago I look the same but I guess dr Gradisar is a discrimitive dr now thinks he’s better than you and by the way look in the mirror Chance I’m 65 yrs old and NEVER treated this bad no worries I won’t be back you all are not better than me I won’t be back

I have been going to Dr Gradisar for 5 years Russ and Dr. Gradisar have given me cordizone shots with no problem and Dr Gradisar did surgery on my completely broken ankle 4 years ago but since then I guess he think he’s to good for certain people I had to go there again last month got this new kid that thinks he’s the dr was so rude to me told me I had to lose weight before Dr. Gradisar would do surgery talked to me like I was scum had me in tears when he left the room and when he came back never even asked me why I was crying I’m 65 years old and not once have I ever been treated like that well news flash why did he hire you Chance look in mirror your over WEIGHT Hippocrates you are and I’d like to know why You yes you Dr Gradisar operated on my ankle 4 yers ago I’ve not changed boy you’ve gotten a big head in 4 years you think your better than most tell your secretaries to tell us that if we look a certain way you don’t want to see us anyway Chance wasted my time because that man couldn’t even give me the shot great man you hired you need to beg Russ to come back and change your discrimitive ways at least that’s what Chance told me he even told me I was mistaken that you didn’t operate on my ankle he said your Dad did set him straight please I also called in and talked to a manager and she had the gull to tell me I was upset because I didn’t like what he told me and I said your dang right he didn’t need talk to me like he was better than me and that girl she’s just as bad she pretty much told me it was my fault but she couldn’t tell me why Gradisar operated on my over weight butt 4 years ago but I found another Dr that will and trust me I’ll NEVER step my fat foot in your office period even to go to another dr you have 2 rude people working there and of course I’m not good enough anyway good luck

This man walked in room after I waited for 1 hr., looked at me like I was scum on the bottom of his shoe, was the least bit interested in my concerns. Had me get up walk in a tiny room, sat on the exam table, he tried to straighten my leg, which I can't do all of the way. Looked at me, said, well, it was straight when you walked! My knee issues were of no concern to this Dr.! I asked him to listen to the noise my knees make, looked right at me, said what noise!!!! Had me in tears at one point, made me feel as if I wasted his time, when in fact he had wasted mine! No personality, I can tell his bedside manner is probably like his personality, he doesn't have 1!!!!!! I will never never go back to see this doctor again !!!!!! Went against his colleagues DX, I had seen for years, Regret not going back again. Green office is closer for me , my huge mistake. Got up off his stool opens the door, said something, then walked out !!!! I would absolutely never refer anyone to this man !!!!!!!! Dr. Gradisar, a bit of advice, treat everyone as you would want to be treated!! You never know what people are going through, or who the person is sitting in the room. I feel quite sorry for you and pray that you don't treat all your patience like you did to me today. You are definitely in the wrong business !!!!!!!

He doesn't seem to listen to my concerns and cuts me off before I can fully state issues.
