Dr. Schartman took over my care after my previous retina specialist retired. He has been very professional, helpful and friendly. He doesn't rush my appointment, is thorough in his examination and is always ready and willing to answer questions. He and his staff provide a comfortable and safe environment for office visits. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Schartman performed victrectomies on both my right and left eyes. With his care and expertise, my vision has not been this clear in decades! The patient care he provides is excellent! He checks-in on his patients before and after surgery, which made me feel at ease! Highly recommend Dr. Schartman for retinal issues!

My eye doctor Paul Dowd referred me to Retina Associates about 3 years ago to treat minor tears in my retina. I have been a patient of Dr. Schartman for the last three years and he continues to assist me in my Retina care.
