I saw Dr. Arora for my prostate cancer. He recommended a RALP. His staff was Awesome! they were caring and attentive to all of my concerns. He did a wonderful job and now I'm well on the road to recovery.

My experience with Dr. Naveen Arora & Summa Urology team has been very, very positive. No man is prepared to encounter the uncertainty of an aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis. So many options, questions, treatments and concerns. Dr. Arora was straightforward with information, options and realistic when discussing outcomes. I really felt my care was in good hands. My confidence in Dr. Arora and team was well deserved. It's been 90 days since a prostatectomy and I am again completing outdoor work, travel and a 50 hour professional work week. Most meaningful is that my fear of embarrassment due to "accidents" was unfounded. No leaks, no runs and fully restored bladder control. What a relief! I could have gone to Cleveland, Pittsburgh or Columbus for treatment, but why? The state of the art treatment and professional care was available and easily accessible here in Akron. I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention I received from Summa Urology & Dr. Naveen Arora.

Can not express my appreciation for Dr. Naveen Arora... He saved my life and I am truly thankful. He treated my prostate cancer with robotic surgery on Sept 28 2021 I came home Sept 29 2021 am with very little pain. I am 57 and was very scared and concerned . he talked to me and my wife together and told us the best was to remove the prostate we made the decision right there on spot to remove my prostate. Thank you Dr Arora for treating my prostate cancer. After exploring options,we decided robotic prostatectomy was my preferred option. Surgery day was very professional as everything was explained. Now 4 weeks after , recovering as explained. Experienced very little pain after surgery , and my prostate will never bother me again. Biopsy on lymph glands were negative. Would recommend Dr Arora to everyone!

My Mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer and was referred to Dr. Arora. She is 83 and Dr. Arora made sure we knew exactly what her best option was and explained all of our questions. On surgery day everything went the way he explained and my Mom came home the next day after having her kidney removed. We would highly recommend Dr. Arora.

I was referred to Dr Naveen Arora by Dr Joseph Dankoff in regards to my enlarged prostate issue. Dr. Arora spent a lot of time with me explaining all the options for treating my enlarged prostate. Dr Arora was very informative and discussed the Urolift procedure to treat my BPH. The doctor also explained all options for treating my BPH. I made the decision to have the out-patient Urolift procedure done by Dr Arora. The operation was done on May 28, 2021. The procedure went well! I am vey impressed with the results. I am now off the Flomax pills! I am happy with the Urolift procedure after just a little over a month! I would recommend the Urolift procedure and I would highly recommend Dr. Arora.

I was referred to Doctor Arora when a growth was discovered on my kidney When I saw him he told me he was 99% sure it was cancer and it covered a very large amount of my kidney if he just removed the cancer there would be very little kidney left and he could not be sure he got every cancer cell he recommended removing the whole kidney but he did cover all my options. At this point your over whelmed no one wants to hear the word cancer and your mind is racing who is this doctor, what is his back ground , I should go to Cleveland and get a second opinion. but in my mind my thought was I need to get it out asap so I ask how fast can we do this it was Nov. 2020 he just had a cancellation for 12/2 and I took it. a week before I did the intake and they told me my wife couldn't be there I told them forget it I will cancel. Dr. Arora called me concerned about not doing the surgery , not his nurse, or a girl from the office but the doctor him self . I knew I had the right doctor . no regrets !

I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in November of 2020. My cardiologist, Dr Stephen Heupler, referred me to Dr Arora at Akron Urology. Dr Arora gave me world class care right here in Akron. My operation was a success and he also saved my kidney. The care I received from Dr Arora and Summa Akron was as good as it gets. It has been six months and there is no sign the cancer has returned.

I have been an urology patient for several years, to treat BPH symptoms. I was eventually placed on medication which was only minimally effective and had side effects. Last fall I saw Dr Arora to learn more about the Urolift procedure. Turns out I was a candidate for the surgery which I do undergo. The procedure has been very successful; I am no longer on the meds and my symptoms are now mild and manageable. I was very pleased with the entire process and very happy with Dr Arora. I highly recommend anyone dealing with these symptoms to see Dr Arora about the Urolift procedure.
