Very disappointed with this doctor. I went to see him for lower back pain referred by my primary physician who wanted a preventive treatment to avoid surgery. His only words were "you do not need surgery". Never received alternative options. The visit lasted 5 min. Very unprofessional. I will nor recommend this doctor.

He did my wife worst doctor ever they had to staple her head after he was done. Also sent her home no rehab had to go to nursing home because he neglected to make arrangements.do not go to him he is a butcher we might sue.

I am 58 Y/O male had an above-knee amp. and been having chronic pain in stump w phantom pain also. Feb 19 had a perm. pain implant put in; Dr Hartzfeld and his AWESOME assisting Nursing staff did a fantastic job of making me comfortable and I felt completely at ease due to the fact other Doctors I see have High Praise of Dr H. Thanx again to all you Compassionate Nurses and also a special Thanx to the 2 Reps for the Implant Co who once again answered all my Questions in simple English for the average joe to understand. Looking forward to to getting next implant done.

Dr. Hartzfeld performed surgery on my back four years ago. I never had a complication. I have had no residual pain and returned to my normal life within a few months.

He recently did major back surgery on my husband, and did a great job. We found him to be personable, took his time in answering questions, gave a lot of reassurance, was very patient. His staff was great as well, especially when our referring Dr. would not do the prior auth, they stepped up and did another office's work, to help get him in (his condition was deteriorating). We would recommend him.

I was in tremendous PAIN in my right bicep, upper back & neck for over 7 months. Many sleepless nights. Dr Paul Hartzfeld is an EXCELLENT Neuro Surgeon. I had surgery January 16, 2019 and stayed overnight in the hospital. My body pain was completely GONE immediately following surgery. To me it's a miracle! Hes a very caring and very professional doctor. I highly recommend him. He gave me a new life!
