Dr. Wakelin is very nice and patient yet the only thing I disagree with is how he required me to see a therapist to approve me for a double mastectomy before he would ever consider performing that procedure on me. This is something I've wanted since I was 13yrs old. That was 20+ yrs ago. I am finally being proactive about it now bc I am finally financially able to do so. I know my body and what I want more than anyone on the planet, so I disagree a therapist should be given the power to approve or not approve something that would be in my best interest when they have only known me for an hr.

Dr. Wakelin and his staff are fabulous!! I recently had quite a large surgery and could not be happier with my results! He is a complete professional with great bedside manner. The staff is always friendly, helpful, caring, and professional. The Upper Arlington office is just beautiful. I can’t wait to visit their Medispa soon! I would recommend Dr. Wakelin to all my friends and family. Absolutely the best!!!!

$10,000 I had a tummy tuck 2 years ago this month to repair my stomach from emergency surgery in 2016. Dr. Wakelin basically cut me open and closed me back because my stomach was no smaller than it was prior to the surgery. I wasted $10,000 for nothing and I’m still paying for it with no results. He tells you what you want to hear but results show he couldn’t do it. I wish I’d never went to his office and his nurse is the same way. She was nice until they got my money and then rude afterwards.

Dr. Wakelin is a very nice doctor but after paying $10,000 for a mini tummy tuck to fix my stomach from emergency surgery in 2016, it was a waste of money and time. All I have now is debt and same appearance. I feel that I was just cut open and sewn back together. I’m not obese and my results should have been better. I just needed the stretching of my stomach repaired. I work out everyday and stay active. I truly regret it and will be paying for it along time. I was just another dollar sign to him and his staff, when all I wanted was my life back. 😞

If you want an excellent result, see Dr. Wakelin.Dr. Wakelin wasn’t the only doctor with whom I consulted for a major surgery but after meeting with him, I scheduled the surgery immediately. Dr. Wakelin explained every aspect of the surgery and answered all my questions. Dr. Wakelin has a wonderful bedside manner and made me feel at ease through recovery. Dr. Wakelin’s staff was always available to answer questions about recovery procedure. Most importantly, I believe his surgical technique created (or recreated) symmetry and balance in my physique. So happy I chose Dr. Wakelin!

I drove from West Virginia for my consult with Dr. Wakelin. I knew when I left, I wanted him to do my surgery. He gave me realistic expectations, and made the whole process as smooth as possible. This was important for me considering I had a 3 hour drive home the day after surgery! Great Dr. ! Great results!

Dr. Wakelin was referred to me by a friend who had breast reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy. I had a breast reduction and my daughter had breast implants. All of us are very very pleased with our surgeries! I highly recommend Dr. Wakelin!
