MIlan BENDER Herceg's Online Review Report Card

I used to have sciatic pain and doctor Hercerg recommended doing microdiscectomy to treat it. It’s been a month since the surgery and I feel much better and the pain is gone.

I recently had a L4-L5 back fusion surgery performed by Dr. Herceg. Prior to my surgery, numerous people provided me with unsolicited horror stories about this type of surgery.It is noteworthy that none were performed by Dr. Herceg. Nonetheless, the experiences by others were very unsettling. Consequently, I did my research about this type of surgery and the Ohio surgeons who performed them. Bottom line, for back surgery, Dr. Herceg is your guy. Although not much of a talker, Dr. Herceg is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. The horror stories were unfounded. While not pain free, the pain I experienced was minimal and my progress was quick. Dr. Herceg has a great medical team anchored by his assistant CeCe, who may be the hardest working person on the planet. She helped considerably in explaining the process and putting my mind at ease.

Horrible experience with Dr. Herceg. He is very dismissive and does not listen to patient pain concerns. He was very argumentative and would interrupt when trying to explain symptoms. He was very condescending. There seemed to be no care or compassion. I would not ever recommend him to anyone and he doesn’t even deserve one star.

By far Great Compassionate Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Herceg told me that there was no reason for my pain based on my imaging. Followed up with an excellent neurosurgeon who showed me specific areas on my MRI that were concerning. Ultimately needed a multi-level fusion after trying more conservative therapies.

Was told in so many words that I was not wanted at offive by receptionist ( Cee Cee. Was refered by my Dr to this office. She said it is at jer descection whether she allows anyone to see sergoen Ask her why. She said she heard I was not too friendly. What kind of racist crap is that? Deny a spinal injury parient care over something she heard. Very uprifessional like her name. What professional goes by Cee Cee. If reception is this bad I could imagine the caliber of Dr he is. I will go elsewhere and find better because his rating suck anyway

Dr Herceg is by far one of the best surgeons in the world. Not only did he do a great job performing my surgery. He called me while he was on his vacation to make sure I was feeling well. I have been telling everyone about my experience with him and his assistant CeCe. They are hands down the best in the world to me.

Dr Herceg is excellent at what he does and genuinely cares. I understand he and his staff are very busy, but you have to pin them down and be quick with your concerns as they will move you along swiftly. I think that because everything is so routine for them that they may not always exhibit the empathy a patient who is scared and unfamiliar needs.

Dr Herceg is a true professional! He seen me, had me get an MRI in the office. He seen me right after my MRI and said I needed surgery to repair the spacing between my C5-C6. Had my surgery 4 weeks later. Had no complications and felt relief immediately after surgery. I just seen him for my 2 week follow up and I couldn't be happier. My fingers are no longer tingly and my shoulder pain is almost non-existent. I highly recommend if you have neck pain to see Dr Herceg. The staff at orthepedic one is top tier and took great care of me! I will recommend all my friends and family to Dr Herceg and orthepedic one!
