My knee started locking with no known injury. I went to a doctor at Ohio Health and without any radiological diagnosis said I had a tight IT band. I thought maybe my Rheumatologist could treat the knee with steroids since I have RA. Luckily she referred me to Dr. Edwards!! I got an MRI and diagnosis that day. Dr. Edwards said I had a meniscus bucket tear and asked if I wanted to get surgery that Friday! Wow, I had to wait a week but that was lightning fast! I walked out of the appointment and googled Dr. Edwards and found out he’s the Columbus Crew team doctor. Well if anyone can fix a knee it has to be the professional soccer team doc. Unfortunately I had to have a repair that took me to no weight bearing for weeks. That was a mess for me, I’m single in a 800 sqft multi level home with a lot of pets. (My only complaint was I wish they better prepared me for return home by myself with all of the restrictions. Maybe information on home health etc.. but that doesn’t reflect on Dr. Edwards). Because of this I had to move near Ashville, OH and Ortho1 PT department was not close. I began my therapy around 8 weeks out and was not progressing well. On my return to see Dr. Edwards he encouraged me to go to their physical therapy as soon as I moved back. Wow!! What a difference. Now I’m 5 months out and I feel great! I have to give a little bit of credit to the AMAZING physical therapists but mostly to the doctor himself. He so nice but what a changed person he is the day of surgery, I think this guy loves the OR… he was beaming! He takes his work very seriously and the respect he has outside of Ortho One within medical and non-medical communities is the reason I would not recommend anyone else to do a knee repair. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A++

The office staff and the Doctor were great! I felt he was very knowledgeable and I was happy with his recommendations.

I have many doctors in my family (some famous) so I'm picky who I go to. If you have Orthopedic issues and want the best, look no further than Dr. Edwards. It says a lot that top Athletes seek him out. His "bedside manner" listening skills and connection to patients is beyond reproach. I've even taken my kids with orthopedic issues to him which will tell you the confidence I have in him.

Dr. Edwards was very thorough and provided me with quality care. I felt very involved in my plan of care and he truly has his patients’ best interest in mind. Previously, I had experience with the same ortho surgeon, but since moving I had to find another one. I was nervous about this but ortho one and Dr. Edwards made me feel comfortable and well taken care of!

I have seen a lot of doctors in my 33 years (unfortunately). Dr. Edward’s completed ACL reconstruction on my daughter. He had a wonderful bedside manner and truly knows his stuff. We are so happy with him so far! In addition he has recommended an amazing PT named Jeff.
