Truly impressed with Dr. Vivek Sahai skills on my knee replacement. Surgery went smoothly, and was walking the next day. I was very hesitant to get the surgery, but now I can’t wait to get my other knee replaced. Thank you Dr. Vivek Sahai, you are best!

I’ve had several surgeries in my 70 years but Dr Sahai was the first to ever call me the night before surgery to ask if I had any questions. He is very personable and humorous when appropriate. I hope I never have to have this surgery again (left knee replacement) but if I would I would choose Dr Sahai. I would rate him at the top.

I am extremely grateful to have found Dr Sahai to do my first total knee replacement and two years later I returned to have him do total knee replacement for the other knee. I am so happy to be able to continue hiking and walking pain free. Bonus --the scar on each knee from incision is barely noticable.

I was admitted to Riverside Hospital with an infection in my left knee. I had total knee replacement in 2008. This was my only complication since then. Dr. Sahai assessed the site electing to open the knee doing an antibiotics irrigation. The knee is healing nicely with all signs of infection are gone. Dr. Sahai is very compassionate and empathetic. He patiently explains everything answering all questions. I recommend him for knee problems.

Dr. Sahai replaced both of my knees on the same day in April of 2019! Other doctors that I consulted never mentioned the option or told me it was not advisable to do both knees on the same day. Dr. Sahai was fabulous!! My recovery was very manageable. I was always ahead of schedule for all measures expected by my physical therapist which was pretty surprising to me as I was not in good physical shape prior to surgery. Although days 3-5 were rough, I was walking outside up and down my street within two weeks. I am so thankful to Dr. Sahai for providing me the option of replacing both knees on the same day so that I only had to go through ONE recovery period.

My Primary Physician referred me to Dr. Sahai. When I asked “Why Dr. Sahai?” he replied “He is the Best!”. He was absolutely correct. Very attentive, answered all questions, called the night before surgery, was compassionate and just a great guy! My surgery went fantastic. Very little pain and my scar is minimal and very straight (believe me for a woman that’s important) can’t wait to schedule my other knee in a year. If you are looking for a personable and caring doctor you will find that in Dr. Sahai!

Doctor Sahai and Staff are caring, courteous, and personable. Procedural questions are explained in detail so that the patient and family have a thorough understanding. The personal touch by all helps in putting the patient at ease. Doctor Sahai goes above and beyond to put the patient at ease. His personal touch included a telephone call the night before surgery and also the day after surgery. Who does that ?? Highly recommend Doctor Sahai !!!
