Was in icu ,heart monitor alarmed for more for more than 45 mins.family member cleaned my room,like emptied my urinal, beds suckvery uncomfortable, staff is rude.go some place else

I was very impressed with what I saw on my visit here. Every person I encountered (nurses, receptionist, security) was friendly, professional, and efficient.

It's a joke, if u need medical attention go to Cleveland, don't waste your money on this Mickey mouse so called hospital.

Great staff wife treated outstanding in emergency no issues what so ever in her gallbladder removal surgery.

Terrible . Rude staff. Didn’t know how to handle epileptics. Left the bed rail down.

One night, I was rushed to the ER for an infection . The doctors and nurses were nice. They gave me medication, and advised me to schedule a follow-up appointment.I called to schedule a follow-up appointment after I was done taking my medication. There was a bug going through the system, so they were having difficulties scheduling people.I called, and spoke to a nurse who didn't know what to do (even though the bug had been in the computer system for about three weeks already), so I was transfered. I had to wait on the line for about ten minutes before I was transfered again, and then I was transfered a final time. I told the last nurse my problem and she took down my name and number and told me she would call me back.I didn't hear from her for three days, so I called and made an appointment again. This nurse seemed more confident in getting me an appointment. She took down my name and number and said she would call me back in three days. Welp, I didn't get a call back from the hospital until twenty days later...just to schedule an appointment, not even to go to an ACTUAL appointment, but schedule one.I understood that it was going to take a little time to schedule an appointment. However, I needed the follow-up appointment in a mannerly time frame, and I found this very disappointing that they didn't find a balance or solution to help patients in need, quicker. It makes me wonder how many people are waiting days on end just to schedule appointments...In the end, I trusted my gut, gave up on the Ashtabula hospital and made an appointment in Conneaut (about a day or two after I made my gazillionth pre-schedule phone call with Ashtabula). They scheduled me an appointment the first time I called (as how it should be), I went to the appointment super quick, and it was a wonderful experience.The Ashtabula hospital got rid of their birthing unit, yet they appear to be "super busy" and "occupied" to call people back, classic.

They lack proper communication and the reviews really show it. FYI they haven't improved.

I took my 14 year old to emergency room on a Saturday evening because she was having panic attacks. Never have I been treated so poorly at a hospital. The emergency room Doctor was very rude, so was most all of the nurses. He treated me as if I know nothing, and was lecturing us. He also gave her a drug test and treated us as if we were trash. So the results came back clean (of course) and he then seemed a bit better. I will never go there again. I do not recommend at all. Go somewhere else.

ER turned away / failed to provide accurate information to an injured patient tonight. Someone should look into their staff management at 7:50pm on September 11, 2019.
