List of Lance Broy's Reviews
I have been a patient of Doc.Broys for about 17 years as well as my two minor children. I have nothing but respect for him and how he communicates with his patients. Doc Broy calls asap to let you know any testing that is alarming or not. Doc.Broy has always taken the time needed to figure out what was causeing issues in our health, he has always went over and beyond any Doctor we had prior to him. Doc.Broy is an amazing doctor. I will never forget the time my oldest was sick for three months * rash, not eating, pale. After several trips to the local emergency room the doctors their told us he had what was called* a Christmas tree effect/fern pattern upside down with puffiness. I went to Doc.Broy and he done what no other Doctors did something so simple "labs" . Within 30 mins Doctor Broy called me and asked how my son was " I told him not good he can't stay awake, Doc. Broy then told me to take my son to Children's hospital asap, that my son had very little white blood cells left and a few red cells that he was faxing Children's Hospital the paper work, that not only did my son have what the local emergency room said he also had Parvovirus / fifths disease . Had it not been for Doc. Broy no one would of ever ran his labs for a rash. Scary but I am for ever grateful that Doc.Broy was concerned enough to run things Stat. If Doc Broy had not done a simple task many choose not too things could have been much worse. Thank you Doctor Broy. That entire situation just stays with you as a parent.

Dr. Broy is the most spiteful person I've ever met. I had a miscommunication about my appointment and rescheduled it for the next day. I own the responsibility for that but it was completely unintentional. I show up 30 minutes early for my new appointment to find out that Dr. Broy intentinaly canceled my appointment without contacting me causing me to waste gas and time to come 40 minutes to a Dr. Office during a pandemic. If this is how he treats people with spiteful vengeance I'm glad I wasn't seen by him.

I was lucky enough to secure Dr. Broy as my family doc after mine retired about 15 yrs ago. I couldn't be happier with the care he and Hillary (his nurse) have shown me and my family over the years. We have found him to be friendly, conscientious and knowledgeable while always giving great advice to keep us healthy. Everyone should have a family doc like him.

Great practitioner.
Great practitioner.
In contrast to the previous reviews I have to say he is one of the worst doctors I have ever had, never can get in to see him but when I do I might have well just stayed at home because he never seems to have a good grasp of the medical field and gets defensive if I try to ask questions. Like most doctors at Holzer, seems to be in medicine for the money rather than to help people. If you live in Athens, use the Ohio University doctors (who keep up on the latest research) rather than Holzer.
dr. broy is great.easy to talk with, takes his time if you have questions.does not rush around like most dr. do.i give 5 stars plus..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
