List of James E. Foster's Reviews
Not impressed. Very difficult to get prescriptions refilled. Does not take much time with each patient (although most of the time I’m okay with that). However when I asked a medical opinion question, I was told to talk to my other doctors. I’ll be looking for a new primary care doctor immediately.
DONT go here! They refuse care only bc YOU have been healthy and not required their services. Im dying from covid and the dr refuses to prescribe infusion therapy bc he hasnt seen me for 2 years! STAY away!
Dr.Foster yelled and hung up on me after determining Covid symptoms/questions were not an emergency. Didn’t give me the chance to tell him my blood oxygen levels, the fact that I am running a fever and am wheezing and need a refill on inhaler. Had Covid last November with double pneumonia and a partial collapsed lung.. also the after hours staff “supervisor” is completely unsympathetic and hateful. They don’t even rate one star.. pursuing this first thing Monday with complaints
I am completely disappointed and at a loss for words. Zack (LNP) seems to be more concerned with being right than being thorough and doesn’t show any sign of caring if the patient is satisfied with his so called evaluation. His own words when looking at my injured arm were, “I’m pretty sure it will be alright and heal up on its own. The small window of doubt is what caused me to ask for a referral to an orthopedic for a second opinion. The nature of the injury possibly being a torn tendon means there is a short period of time to repair it and if that amount of time is surpassed the injury cannot be properly repaired. Zack agreed with that and told me he would refer me to an orthopedic to be absolutely sure about his theory and also stated he would include that it is time sensitive. He did refer me and when the orthopedic he referred me to called me 2 days later it turned out they had no availability for the following 2 weeks at any of their 5 offices. The referral had no notes about the importance of time but if it did the lady that I was trying to make an appointment with said if it was time sensitive she could squeeze me in but since it didn’t state anything about time that there wasn’t anything she could do for me. I made several phone calls to Dr. Fosters office at that point but couldn’t get anyone to help add to the referral that it needed to be dealt with sooner than later. They kept reading my chart to me and telling me that Zack’s notes indicated that he was pretty sure there was no tear but I don’t want a “pretty sure” I want a definite answer and that’s why I was looking to get a second opinion. It seems they all were satisfied with “pretty sure” since it’s my arm and not theirs that had the issue. In the end I wasted my time and got a complete run around from their entire office. Guaranteed they will be sending me a bill for the worthless office visit and will expect payment and they won’t sweep that under the rug like they did the issue that brought me to their office in the first place. All I can make if it is that Zack is so arrogant that he’s afraid his diagnosis is incorrect and doesn’t want anyone to challenge his opinion. I’m beyond frustrated by this and will get the treatment I need and it will have nothing to do with this joke of a practice. If you choose this office just know they prefer stroking their egos over treating their patients. Good luck! After seeing an orthopedic it turns out my distal bicep tendon was torn off of the bone and I had surgery 2 weeks after I wasted my time with Zack. I’ll be back to normal about 16 weeks from the date of surgery. Thanks for less than nothing
Total waste of my time. Had his own agenda. Didn't listen to me. Wouldn't come back into room when I requested to speak to him again.
Very caring guy. Great practice.
Wait is short. Quick answers on My Chart. Has a great team, will see any of them.
I really like Dr. Foster. He takes his time and listens to me. He is a very caring doctor. He does run late sometimes, but that is because he wants to spend the time with his patients. When he comes him, he will always apologize for it.
he does not do a proper case analysis..does not do his own findings..he violates his own medical mission...does not listen well...offensive..puts on his doctor title like wearing a badge..violates the patient bill of rights...makes evaluations from opinions from other doctors...does not..do his own findings...did his medical evaluations by the seat of his pants..also since i have seen him for going on a little over a year..he never did a complete physical...all of this has hurt me..and now i am working with..kettering customer service and patient relations...i challenge him and wanted a second opinion....he dropped me as a patient...i have rights...he is not humble...my opinion...and all of the above!!!...i have made a complaint to kettering relations...i am a disabled vet..hell..he does not even know that
Dr.Foster is NOT the doctor you want to go to. There is a thing called Customer service that Dr. Foster is unaware of. He will NOT call you or speak with you on the phone for any reason! HE will NOT speak to you at the counter if you have a quick question to ask him without an appointment even if you saw him THE DAY BEFORE. He will NOT sign any type of doctors notes without an appointment even if you have seen him twice in the last 6 months! He WILL come into your room 30-45min late with dangerous consistency. He WILL talk so loud you can hear every word he and the other patients in the other rooms around yours say! There is no PRIVACY you can hear every word from the little old grandma next door to the 30 year old man across the hall. So if you like arrogant, late, god complex doctors, you will love Doctor James Foster!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
