He is compassionate, thoughtful and thorough. He takes the time w patients and takes time to teach the next generation of docs. I am a better physician because of him.

I truly believe this man got his medical degree in a craker jack box

If you are assigned to this provider; please seek an alternative. He has put my Mother on medication that is to purely sedate her, rather than for her diagnosis. Comes in to the room, asks “How are you feeling?” then walks out. He does not look or listen, nor put hands on the patient. Again, he is heavy on pushing medications that are not necessary. Does not listen to the patient’s spouse or more so, their advocate and historian. There is no communication with this provider. Please do your research when searching for a rehabilitation facility and/or ECF. If he is the medical director of the facility, please consider placing your family elsewhere. I generally do not write reviews but after seeing the several 1 star reviews that are similar to our situation, I felt compelled to do so. The 5 star reviews are merely an attempt to hide his bedside manner that is accurate on several levels. Adding the comment, “I don’t know why all the negative reviews” I don’t find it valuable that reviews made by a family member can provide assistance to others that have actually been seen by him as a patient.

I hate to leave a bad review but at the same time, I feel compelled. If I can spare just one person from going through the experience I went through, this will be well worth the time. Sadly, I never once left his office feeling hopeful; to the contrary. After seeing him, on more than one occasion, I left feeling belittled and hopeless, frankly. I don’t ever remember a time when he looked me in the face. He was always looking at his computer screen. Once, after sharing my physical struggles, he literally laughed under his breath. He showed absolutely no compassion & his nurse was no better, I’m sad to say. Doctors, in a perfect world, are kind & compassionate, willing to listen, seeking to diagnose and eager to treat. I can honestly say that Dr. Patel exhibits none of those attributes & it disappoints me more than I can say.

I have never seen more compassionate and doctor who would listen to all your concerns. He will not let you until all your queries are gone. He will not give you medicines just to make you happy that you are taking something. He will prescribe only if you need to take. Not sure from where all these negative comments are coming from.

Just recently I come down with a one in million diagnosis. The doc was the first to reach out after my surgery. "Ambulance chaser."he was an hour and a half late. Tthe whole time he's asking about saws. After 15 minutes he told me I need to sharpen my saw., Which I'm the saw. He never looked once at my issue, he looked at the screen and wanted blood work, he had all the records he needs I was in the hospital for 9 days he had all the info. He issued me meds that was clearly not doing the issue, I called back every day waiting on response ,3 days later the nurse calls me ,and issued me the same medicine that wasn't working. He's a family doctor and now my family is not going back, I've got a couple co-workers that see him, they are not going back because of this issue. He should be a psychiatrist cuz that's what he's trying to be . He told me to try a prescription medicine that I'm not even issued. What a professional. I do not recommend anybody to go to his office unless you're taking out the trash. I'll keep everybody updated because I'm still waiting on a phone call. Oh yeah, he told me to wear my seatbelt when I get my car.

Persistently late to appointments (>1hr). Makes mistakes on prescriptions to the pharmacy. Does not listen to concerns raised. Responds with condescension. Appalling bedside manner. Could not recommend.

Absolutely absolutely terrible. He is my mother’s PCP and I have never seen a doctor with less compassion than Doctor Patel. He absolutely did not care about my mothers medical reports. He is completely clueless and I do not recommend him to anybody.

Wish I could be leaving a positive review... My mother went in to Dr. Patel's office to get her annual check for one specific thing as required by her occupation. He had told her that he will prescribe her "basic blood work" which will cost her nothing due to her age group. After the testing, she checked her MyChart and saw that he had written her symptoms as "severe coughs" and had her check for HIV - without informing her. She was in perfect condition and needed only one test done, needless to say she was charged $300+ for her bill and am truly disappointed by his deceitful treatment of my mother.
