List of Steven Taylor's Reviews
Dr. Taylor is a very good psychiatrist and I highly recommend him. Every session I feel heard, validated and respected. I truly appreciate his patience and willingness to get to the root causes. His staff (Elaine and Lisa) are pleasant too.
Dr. Taylor is honest, down to earth, brilliant, a great listener, and really compassionate with me when I'm struggling with new medications. I had a severe allergic reaction to a new medication at one point, and he responded immediately with a strong allergy medication and lots of follow up to make sure I was okay. He's very invested in my care, but also refuses to give me false hope (I love how real he is). If you're not sure where to turn for your mental health needs, I highly recommend him!
Been seeing for a few years now and is the only psychiatrist I've met that actually seems to care. Is careful with prescribed medicines, and doesn't make me feel like I'm forced to take anything. Encourages me to be honest, and talks about anything I have questions about.
He doesn’t listen to concerns about diagnoses or medication. He has a take it or leave it attitude about his treatment. He diagnoses from checklists, something that could be done for free online considering he only wants black and white answers and arrogantly avoids answering any questions you might have. “Dr.” Taylor made me feel like my appointment was rushed and that he either didn’t have time for me or didn’t care. Possibly both. Please don’t trust your mental health with this man. You’re too important to trust someone this cold and careless towards patients.
Doesn't listen. Is intent on getting person off anti-,anxiety meds too quickly!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
