Almost lost my wife and daughter because he failed to diagnose Preeclampsia when all signs and symptoms pointed to it. Didn’t know what it was until my wife went to the emergency room in Port Clinton and was rushed to ProMedica Hospital in Toledo. 2 weeks prior, at an appointment we made before traveling, we had concerns about the pregnancy. Her legs feet and hands were swollen far more than normal for a pregnancy which he blamed SALT! She had an abnormally high blood pressure for which he blamed the 100 ft walk from the car to the office in 80 degree heat! Shrugged off all other worries and didn’t check her urine, which we learned after was necessary due to her underlying symptoms which directly pointed to Preeclampsia. Had he checked the urine he would have found protein and she wouldn’t have needed an Emergency C Section that lead to complications causing her to never be able to have children again. She and my daughter came within inches of their lives and wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the staff at Toledo ProMedica. Please don’t choose this man. Especially if your pregnant.

Great Doctor. I'm extremely lucky to have had him deliver my daughter. I went into the ER not realizing I was pregnant let alone in labor. Karasik was calm and collected and he took excellent care of my baby and I while I was also pre-eclampsia. He continues to put up with me pretty much weekly through postpartum check ups and catching up on routine care I've neglected myself of. He's been nothing but friendly and the office has a friendly atmosphere

It was my first time here and I could not find the building. So I ended up running a little late. Explained to the lady at the desk and she was super nice about it and got me checked in. The doctor was very polite, such a good bedside manner, and straight to the point. I usually prefer a woman but he made me feel super comfortable which as a 20 year old is shocking to me. I avoid these dr’s as much as possible. But I won’t be hesitating to make an appointment here.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never had a doctor treat me so horribly in my life. I have only ever seen girl gyno's before and was nervous about seeing a male for the first time. But I told myself he is a doctor he is there to help me, so I'll be okay. WRONG!!!! I was seen in the er for losing alot of blood due to my cycle being out of wack and alot of other stuff. The er doctor set me up an appointment to be seen at his office. I told him I what was going on and told him that I wanted to get my birth control removed of Multiple reasons. And he straight told me no... whatttt. Told me I should ask my boyfriend before I do because I'm to young (ps. I'm 21)😐 and said that I should think if my mom was really ready to be a grandma. This whole appointment he NEVER once asked about my pain or even got me an exa. there's alot more but I'll never see that man again!

I told the office I was undergoing chemo and that I could not wait in the waiting room. They ushered me in right away. I did not notice right away that Dr Karasik did not have a mask on. I confronted him and asked him why he did not have a mask on since I told the office I was undergoing chemo. He said because he could not breathe with a mask on. So he's saying that he couldn't stand wearing a mask for 10 minutes while he's seeing a chemo patient? What's wrong with this man? When covid first started we had a conversation and he was saying that covid was fake. This man is so disrespectful and rough with his exams. He caused me to bleed he was that rough.

Would rather someone else do his job glad he isnt my dr!!!

I love the office. I deal with the kindest and most friendly office staff. Dr Jodi is the nicest and most understanding care provider.

I’ve been seen dr.k since I have as 13 his been amazing with all me needs. His staff is friendly and the office is clean. I can always get an appointment quickly with little wait time. Any questions I have are always answered. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Karasik has been my OBGYN for over 13 years. He listens with the intent of understanding your issues and has a wonderful bedside manner. I actually recommended a friend to him after she has several emergency surgeries at Cleveland Clinic where the issue was never fixed. From her consult she was pleased because he basically pinpointed and knew the problem. Weeks later, she was scheduled for surgery and is finally pain and stress free after years of other doctors misdiagnosis. Personally, I’d give him more than five stars. He’s phenomenal!!

If I could give him 0 stars I would. I am pregnant with my first child and at my first appointment with him he did not ask me a single medical question he asked if I was married, how I felt about seeing my baby in the ultrasound, if my pregnancy was planned and then he sent me on my way. This second appointment I was talked down to as if I was an idiot for not having prenatal blood work done that I didn't realize I had to have separately from the 2 other blood works I had done. I tried to explain that I wasn't told anything about prenatal blood work I was just told about genetic screening but it was like talking to a wall. This is my first pregnancy I don't know what to expect I don't know what questions to ask ALL I WANT IS A DOCTOR WHO IS WILLING TO BE IN THE ROOM WITH ME FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF SECONDS AND EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS HAPPENING DURING MY PREGNANCY.
